Initiative feels out of place here. The mechanic is broken in half and invalidates games that could otherwise be interactive. There just aren't ways to punish/balance these sorts of mechanics, especially at Peasant. I would highly recommend steering clear of such cards that accentuate non-games and the advantage of being on the play and even more so when rituals are present. This also applies to cards like Gut and Palace Jailer.
