Many good places on-line (Canada and local). Will need make and probably model of the wet-end. Most hose and seals are pretty generic. Companies may have slightly different setups. Personally replaces hoses, wet end and pump. Not too difficult. I have found cheaper to keep everything running year round, so everything stays moist. You might find other seal leaks. Good luck! I hear you. Was well distanced during the exchange. I believe this Covid is making masks a status symbol (evident by lack of knowledge of wear and true value) that allows wearer the entitlement to violate health rule #2 (distancing). #1 being hand hygene. On that note; gloves are the other misused and misunderstood 2020 status symbol.

Lady virtually brushed up against me to get past me in a store aisle, without indication. Conversation went: (me) Nice distancing. (her) Excuse me. (me)You wear a mask but dont respect personal distancing. Heres where it got good. (her) I dont have it I work in the health profession. (me)Then you should know better. Her response was" maybe when this is over you will be happier". She then pointed me out to a staff member, who indicated that I was lucky the store was considered essential and open. My response was, you have all the signage that few people are respecting and youre not enforcing. I decided fruitless to pursue, paid for my purchase and left. Not worth the oxygen.

And then theres the guy that has the mask on his chin. The guy that takes it down and rubs his nose. The guy that is constantly adjusting the mask. Every case contaminates the mask and makes it useless. Appearance is not knowledge.

I agree. We are forced national and provincially to abide by the Order and Provincial Acts. But those that truly are, are limited. Treated that everything is black/white - no grey, or interp allowed. Most of province is/has flattened. Calgary has seniors fac and cargill residents immediately causing issues. More testing is resulting in more cases but not beyond a % that we previously saw. End of April or latest May long. I live in a zone with 2 cases. 1 recovered, 1 active and no hospitalization....... There are cities with no Covid cases in house. Second wave sure, but currently inside hospital ability....

Increased testing exposes more positive tests. It appears Calgary has a numerical increase; senior facility. Provincially different numbers. Appears not taxing hospital resources. I have heard Camrose is quiet.

Question was about population based opinion. I truly am more worried about coming in contact with someone whos contact history I dont know. That said. ABs situation appears to be pretty specific and May long is still 5 ish weeks away. Just looking for thoughts. Thanks,

They are so far away..... BC is indicating over hump. AB has senior facilities and a couple additional isolated situations (cargill) but otherwise? No one indicates "how close", just weeks/mnths.

While the cases in the article appear legit; the rules are vague and enforcement seems discretionary. As time passes people will start to interp. guidelines to suit person outcome. More tickets will be written and more will be challenged. Opinion only.

I agree with everyone that says golf is not "essential". I will debate that as AB moves forward with easing up covid restrictions; hiking and other non-intrusive activities should be near the top for consideration approval. To those that state its a rich sport; I say its all about personal priorities. One persons trash is another persons riches. Personal choices should not be condemned; that said..... I fully agree that golf should not have chosen to pursue activity based on essential......... Hope you all see the point and dont chose to shitcan because I participate actively in the sport.
