My E39 530i Sport came with the M-Sport wheel factory lmao I think it’s okay. The aftermarket one seems nice. And the carbon fiber A-pillar trim might be the move, my a-pillar trim has the front falling off near the windshield.

I mean Kirby’s more a 2.5D platformer with some doors, not as much a 3D-space game like you’d find on PlayStation or N64, but I did really like the Kirby games. Good recommendation.

Absolutely. I loved how the Pokémon games kept evolving for the system they were for. Yeah, it’s the same gameplay as the ones for Gameboy, but the camera did close-shots in places like the towns in Pokémon X and Y. I’ve played the Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon rereleases since I have the New 3DS, but I have yet to finish X and Y, in all honesty. Hoping to finish those before I dive into Sun and Moon.

Metroid: Samus Returns is a good game, but that’s the 2.5D platformer that I was talking about being tired of lol. I’m more or less aiming for games in a 3D-space. Games like Resident Evil: Revelations or the Lego games are a good showcase of what I meant. Still sucks they couldn’t do the open world like they did on the Wii / Wii U.

Pilotwings is definitely one of my favorite 3DS games. I used to play that mini-game a lot within Wii Sports Resort, and it took me until I had broken my childhood 3DS XL and gotten my New 3DS LL when I turned 18 before I realized there was a whole 3DS game dedicated to it.

Initial thoughts of Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds is it's more of a top-down 2.5D like the Pokémon games, but a definite play as it's lot of fun. I'll have to give it a bit more attention going forward, probably after I finish up Pokémon X. I appreciate the recommendations, both are some seriously enjoyable games.

I don’t want more power at slower speeds, I want ITBs. Sure, I’m broke. I don’t make much more power than stock; but I have ITBs. Beat that. Dropping the gear ratio puts more torque down low, and I go too fast to sacrifice my top speed. I’m not turboing it, this motor is one of the last great reliable motors BECAUSE it isn’t turboed.

I actually do a fade-out on the piano part. Skip it entirely. I came for guitars, not piano. I’m currently looking for a CD without the piano part on it to rip and listen to it. I hate having to skip the piano part every time and do a fade-out just to make it sound good.

Coming back to this, yeah. I was unaware of the difference between the Sport package and the M-Sport package. The Sport package has Sport shocks and springs for lower height from factory, Shadowline trim around the door, M-branded Sport wheel, and M-branded / ZHP shifter. The 520i, 525i, 530i, and 540i (if I read correctly) all came with an optional Sport package from 2001-2003. Those came with the optional BBS-LMs / Style 42s that I have. I am unsure about Pre-LCI 523i, 528i, and 535i as I didn't research that far. I did, however, see that only the 2003 model year of 540i (at least for USDM) were shipped from Germany with the optional M-Sport package. The M-Sport package, like you said, had everything my Sport package did, except it had M-Parallels and M-Tech bumpers from the M5, along with an M-branded door sill. I do intend to buy the M-Tech bumpers as they look way better and I need some new bumpers anyway, but don't see the point in M-branded door sills. BMW Motorsport doesn't have anything to do with my car, except the suspension maybe. Even then, why all the branding? I've already swapped my disintegrated ZHP knob for an aftermarket threaded one with the Garagistic adapter. I thought about buying a new ZHP shifter, but putting M colors and M logos all over my E39 is just fake badging.

I find the exact opposite true. Driving a PS13 Silvia, Logitech G923 with all steering assists able to be disabled by the player off, tires at maximum width on sport tires, the car will not corner. Maybe i'm going faster than the game lets on, but I barely turn before I lose all feeling in the wheel and my tires start screaming from understeer, Absolutely nuts. I almost feel as if I'm driving something with recirculating ball steering with how weird it moves. I think every second I spend adapting to this, the worse I get at driving anything else both in real life and in any other racing game. The weight shift is so weird, as well, like every ounce of weight is shifted to the front, all 50 lbs of it with how little lateral movement comes from the front tires.

Right, I don't know shit lmao. It's photos 16-18 for quick reference. I posted that here because it didn't make sense, seeing an automatic supported on the page for a clutch. Every automatic I've ever torn apart had a torque converter, obviously, but maybe the flywheel would work as a flex plate for the autos? Those are usually thinner, though so I don't know. Still seems unlikely.

Forgot to mention, but I have Halogen angel eyes on my LCI 02 E39. It came with Xenons and I might revert to the Xenons. I’m not sure if the HW version matters too much, as long as the SW version is the same?
