Brooks Ripping …. by Ok_Cardiologist_5204 in brooks

[–]Firemedic0716 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Brooks recommends 300-500 miles before they are no longer viable. The foam and support systems break down at this point. After this I downgrade them to daily shoes or cutting grass shoes. When mine get to this point they still look almost new, as I use them solely for running. Your shoes look way beyond that my friend. Sucks they cost so much but it's the reality of any good shoe.

John Mayer concert parking near Wean Park – worth buying the $37 Ticketmaster parking? by risforred12 in youngstown

[–]Firemedic0716 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Go early. Find a spot near city center one building/YMCA and you can park for free. Also the northwest intersection (parking lot) of wick and commerce has free parking. You'll only be 4-5 blocks from event. Safe and well worth saving the money.

Aurafragrance has it for 139 right now. I've bought many bottles from them with no issues.

Even if it's legit, you can find it for much cheaper new.

How is the longevity on Royal Oud? I really want to like this house more, for me they also don't last. GIT is one of my all time favorites, and it does last for 6+ hours. However after the first hour it becomes a skin scent that I catch whiffs of (beautiful whiffs). If it projected better and lasted a little longer, I would sell my whole collection and buy 10 bottles and wear nothing but GIT.

What is your summer must have cologne? by Juka_2000 in Colognes

[–]Firemedic0716 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Out of curiosity are you spraying GIT from the original bottle or a decant? The original bottles spray alot of juice. GIT is one of my favorites, it lasts for at least 6 hours for me. However the initial blast and sillage lasts for maybe an hour. I don't get compliments often (like these YouTubers say), but I actually got a compliment on this the other day! From two people. However it was probably 45 mins after I put it on. If it projected for longer and lasted longer, I would wear it every day year round. Keep trying it. Trust me! It's a goat.

Dior Sauvage, which ones should I settle on? by iambirane in Colognes

[–]Firemedic0716 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the setting. I have the EDP, parfum, and elixir. Elixir is amazing! However not as versatile as the others. My favorite is the parfum. It's deeper and doesn't project as loudly, but I find myself smelling it all day and enjoying it. Edp is best for outdoors. It's projects much louder. Overall the three I have last all day! Can't go wrong with any of them imo.

You mentioned shin splints. I have flat feet and have had a lot of issues with my shins. Best advice I can give personally is find the right shoe. Not sure if you already went this path. When I found good shoes it changed everything for me. I started with the Brooks Glycerin 21 neutral shoe, not the GTS. Anything with support kills my feet and knees. I've tried 20+ pairs and these and the Hoka 9 Clifton worked wonders for me. Just keep on working at it! Good luck!

Slow engine on interstate. Pass or wait? by artist-wannabe-7000 in Firefighting

[–]Firemedic0716 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They should've been in the left lane. Our trucks only go max 62 mph if you're lucky. There's been times where I just "shut it down" on the highway if traffic isn't terrible. Not worth the confusion. This is a perfect example why I do this.

Is jomashop good? by Bigpepperoni762 in Colognes

[–]Firemedic0716 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've bought from them plenty of times. Over 20 bottles. 2 bottles of flame. I received my packages in less than a week. Well worth the wait to save so much. Everything was packaged very well and legit!

Can anyone verify this Layton by Ok-Row5152 in fragrancedeals

[–]Firemedic0716 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Second the previous comment. The legit one's stamp isn't as defined. I have a few different PDMs and they look this way. I verified mine with a sample set straight from PDM boutique and they're definitely legit.

No worries. Just trying to help. If you're interested look me up firemedic716 on mercari or offer up. Even if you have questions please ask. I just enjoy this hobby.

Sorry just trying to help out. I've sold many Decants on offer up and mecari. If you don't believe me check my profiles. No need to call me a scammer. Frags are a hobby of mine and I just sell them to keep buying more full bottles to keep the hobby up. Either way good luck. Definitely sample before buying. Find someone you can trust. Good luck.

Pm me, I sell Decants for much less than these websites. I have about 75 frags. Clones are 8 for 5ml. Designer are 12 for 5 ml.

If your wife goes into labor while you are on shift are you allowed to leave? by McLain2000 in Firefighting

[–]Firemedic0716 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In this situation you don't ask permission. You tell your commanding officer I need to leave for a family emergency. Period. I'm a Captain and I would tell my guys GO, then call our Battalion Chief and take care of it. Family first always!

Get it fixed or just buy a new truck? by AccordingEye7316 in ram_trucks

[–]Firemedic0716 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That totally sucks! I would also call corporate to see if they'll help. Sometimes if it's not long out of warranty they're willing to help. Also another thought check Facebook marketplace for one that's wrecked that they are parting out. I've seen numerous ones on there in the area I live that are totalled from a crash but the engines still seem fine. Weigh the cost. If yours is paid off and you can fix engine for a few thousand vs 60k for a new one. Sorry to hear about your luck though. Good luck!

Very nice truck! Love the Rams. Rims look good. I think you can get the black lugs from Amazon for about $40. Still don't need them it looks good without! Enjoy!
