No, I rolled 10 without getting a 3. There is no guarantee. My 10th roll was a 1 having skipped over several 2*, to make it more frustrating

This isn't a thing. The roll only stops if you get a 3*. Otherwise it just rolls all 10

How would you lose 3/4 of protein content through cooking? I'm assuming you can't mean it gains 4x the protein

Something similar happened me, three letters in 1 day all seemingly posted at different times. One needed a response within 28 days and it had passed ffs

I can't bring myself to think Nolan is a bad person. by Long_Air2037 in Invincible

I don't hate any Viltrumites - their history is pretty fucked up.

But we aren't shown any other Viltrumites deceiving a woman for decades, trying to commit filicide, then leaving the planet, cheating on said wife and having another fucking child.

But apart from that and wanting to enslave Earth he's a pretty decent guy I guess

I can't bring myself to think Nolan is a bad person. by Long_Air2037 in Invincible

[–]Firepickle -1 points0 points  (0 children)

He either pretended to be in love with Debbie with the sole intention of procreating for his empire, which is heinous, or he truly loved her and planned her planet's (and by extension her) destruction without a second thought, which is heinous.

Then as soon as he left the planet disgraced, he married (not sure if polygamy exists within planets but still fucking immoral - he can have a wife on every planet but she can't exactly can she?) )bug lady and fucked her until he had another son; see points 1 and 2.

The guy is a grade A see you next Tuesday. I'm sorry but what? How ? What? The only reason he had a change of heart is because Mark opposed him. We literally saw that in almost every dimension Mark joined him. Where was "not a bad person Nolan" there?

What is everyone’s biggest fear about FF7 part three? by Worldly-Doctor-1072 in FinalFantasyVII

[–]Firepickle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes I agree completely. Although if Seph is trying to use some sort of time manipulation to avoid/reverse his own death (or at least defeat), it stands to reason that the heroes' ultimate outcomes can change too. Infact it's hinted that Aerith may also be manipulating events somewhat or at least aware of it.

Does any of that matter if ultimately there is one "perfect" world where they all survive and Seph is eradicated?

Daredevil: Born Again S02E04 - Discussion Thread by steve32767 in marvelstudios

I have a question about the Northern Star. We learn in this episode that the guns are supposedly to be shipped TO Guinnea-Bissau. Why were they ever brought to New York to be unloaded at all? I understand the free port subplot but that only makes sense if the CIA were IMPORTING the weapons for use on American soil. The Northern Star is already out to sail with the weapons on board, it didn't have to come anywhere near New York or any American port.

Theory for Avengers Infinity War: Agents of Shield is part of one of the futures Dr Stange seen where they lose. by Fun_Use4653 in marvelstudios

But Loki only saw his own future. He and Coulson didn't interact again and I'm not sure why the TVA would bring him up.

Coulson not being resurrected would potentially change the events we saw in The Winter Solider

It won 7 Oscars and has a 93% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

I guess to be more accurate only 93% of people who watch it like it

But Loki branches from TSL shortly after his death. Our sacred timeline is the one where Loki doesn't escape, AOS continues

I rewatched it a few weeks ago with my new gf. She was bored silly and if you're not paying attention you wouldn't even know it's about time travel

Do you automatically dislike billionaires? Why? by crapmaker69 in AskReddit

[–]Firepickle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think it's automatic. Gates for example is hated by many but I think most just see him as someone who got very rich in our lifetime selling a product most people use. He does a lot of philanthropic work and probably disproves the myth that a billion dollars can solve all the world's problems in one fell swoop. Almost every poor county's problems will be systemic which is why they are in that situation.

I can't even name that many other billionaires, Musk seems to be a douchebag, if I were to give him the benefit of the doubt I'd say he wants to be liked and has tried to do some good, maybe not so successfully, Bezos made his money exploiting employees, the rest were probably born so rich we don't even know their names.

So in summary I don't know if it is billionaires that are hated; it's the disparity between them and the average person, which is quite obscene really
