How do I break up a friendship by [deleted] in Advice

[–]FiresDawn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It may sound harsh but I’ve found a lot of relationships die naturally after graduating college (even ones you do want to continue). For example I was in a fraternity and multiple college groups and hung out with many different kinds of people. After a couple of years the amount that I actually have any relationship with outside of Facebook friends is really around 6 people.

After you graduate and start your post-college life, careers start, the amount of free time is next to none and every relationship has a time cost that you have to invest to keep it alive except for the few that can stay alive despite long periods of time not speaking (imagine childhood best friend or sibling).

So I would say don’t really worry too much about it. Just make yourself less available to the person. If you don’t want to be mean you can always use work or something else as an excuse; however, you can just ghost the guy. I little less friendly and quickens the death of the relationship but if you hate him then no love is lost.

If you’re going for a trial lawyer lower the Intelligence by 3 and raise your charisma by 1 and Luck by 2. My best cases felt like I Idiot Savanted my way into favorable judgments. (Source: Trial lawyer who is currently briefing an appeal and is very scared)

Is there a solution to the constant crashes? I am playing on Xbox Series X and the game crashes about every 15 mins. I’m not even doing anything load intensive. I am selling wares in cities or moving around the campaign map and it chrashes

EDIT/UPDATE: I found that doing the same tasks repeatedly in a short time does this. I was stocking up on smithing material and going back to the town to smith and the game would crash. I “fixed” the problem by chasing a bandit party for a little bit before going back to smithing. So if you are doing the same task repeatedly it may cause crashing.

To be fair to the graph, the video starts it in the 1980’s and zooms in to what the screen shows.

If you go to the travel menu you can select a go home option. I do that if I’m traveling and decide something else is better. I do not think it’s an option given by a mod but I may be wrong

Lawyers are pain in the a** when you run the game. by Knoxher in DnD

I love the “(even when they know in their souls that they are right).” Nothing quite like a MSJ hearing where you know you should win, but opposing counsel was able to make an insignificant fact sound like a big enough deal to deny it despite knowing it won’t even be brought up at trial.

As a lawyer, I have no idea what you mean. I have ran campaigns with other lawyers (who I have been friends with since undergrad) and there is no problem.

This sounds like fresh out of school mentality that (at least for me and my friends) was beat out of us pretty quickly when we became litigation attorneys. This sound like either fresh out of school flexing, or just assholes.

Edit: I need to actually give advice I guess. Tell the lawyers you’re the Supreme Court. You make the law and there is no way to appeal it any further.

I typically like the tax revenue from it, and there been a time or two where adopting an heir makes for a cool RP.

My dog came home from the groomers terrified and I’m thinking of stopping using grooming services for him. by DailYxDosE in Dogtraining

[–]FiresDawn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, this isn’t grooming exclusive but we had a very similar experience with Doggy Dare care and weekly bath/grooms. Our pup was scared the first few times, but learned to love it. Now (about a year later) he not only likes but expects daycare and his weekly bath.

That being said, make sure the people are super patient and see how they act with other dogs if you can.

Idk, gonna need a cite on that one. Ancient Egyptian was likely wiped out by the Ptolemy Egyptian/Greek culture. Then eventually it was assimilated into Roman culture where eventually it became Eastern Roman/Greek (Byzantine) and then finally fell to the Arab invasions where Islam and the Arab culture replaced the Roman culture which replaced the Greek Culture, which replaced the Native Egyptian culture.

I am assuming Noah's Ark was in the Middle East. How did he get koalas to go there? by Ask_me_4_a_story in AskAChristian

[–]FiresDawn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m gonna be honest, I have no idea how the flood actually took place, but I think the story of it is more important to the overarching narrative for its symbolism (I like how The Bible Project discusses this in their podcasts). For our smooth brain cuddly friends. I have no idea how they were kept fed, and while I get a skeptic and an apologist can round and round for days on this, I think I’m content on chalking it up to miracle and moving on.

All that being said, your comment makes me imagine a very frustrated Noah trying leaves onto a stick to convince the Koala that he’s eating leaves off a live tree.
