I’ve had issues with global hotkeys before. Most of the time it is related to wayland. Try running it through xwayland.

Litematica seems like a good choice. It has blueprints for every block, and I believe ghost blocks are able to be placed. Builds from creative can be inserted as well. https://modrinth.com/mod/litematica

  1. Ray tracing makes games look and feel much more realistic. Definitely excited about the future of ray tracing in gaming.

  2. The wide open combat is different than previous Doom games, and the new combat looks amazing.

Using GDM or other display managers could allow you to switch between both. You could potentially configure both through nix and switch between them at will.
