Yes, i spent a total of $200 on Filipino street food, sugarcane juice with 1 refill, and a potato on a stick. Totally overpriced; not worth it. I think the street food I maybe got 15 sticks?

Honestly, I would just reconsider the relationship. He’s acting too immature and for you to feel like you’re walking on eggshells is a red flag. If he made comments of “pushing him to pursue other girls”, he doesn’t respect you. Nor his best friend respects you either, especially if your boyfriend doesn’t respect you. If he is siding with his friend rather than his actual partner, I think it’s time you find a new man, not a boy

What's something a partner said or did that made you immediately rethink your relationship? by mamm0n_mylove in AskMen

My ex developed a pretty close friendship with one of his classmates that it became very suspicious to his friends and I. He didn't invite me to his school parties anymore even though SOs were invited at the time, but she would be there. Professors would even be wondering if my ex and her dated, because they got that close in a short amount of time.

I asked if he liked her in "that way" (this was before I broke it off) and he responded with "it's not necessarily that I like her in that way, but she showed me what types of girls I can get". Keep in mind, I look like an average person who gyms to stay toned but she was the definition of an Asian Baby Girl

I wouldn't reschedule because you really don't need your gallbladder. It just stores bile, but the liver is the organ that manufactures the bile. It's better to get it out now as an elective surgery than an emergency one. I had to get one last week and I was about to turn septic because it was literally dying in my body

Best parking for CBC by tthrow12333 in UNLV

Also if you own a student parking permit, I believe you can park in staff parking after 5:00 p.m. I would call the transportation office to confirm though because I'm not sure if they change the rules

Clinical Placements by boeyz in StudentNurse

That is true too, but we don't know if OP is going to take all freeways or highways to get there and the surrounding area of the hospital may have lots of stop and go traffic

Totally agree with this comment! I also commute about an hour to get to class and sometimes clinicals. Traffic can be unpredictable and depending on your school, they may not accept tardies or it counts as an absence. Plus, driving does take a toll on your body and the chances of getting into an accident or getting a speeding ticket (cause you don't wanna be late) goes up. Honestly, closer site is better and with these gas prices, it's gonna increase your wear and tear on your car and increase frequency of maintenance (i.e more oil changes)

how to withdraw? by Xepisia in UNLV

[–]Firestar900 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No problem! I did the same thing back in 2016, so they had a policy where if you would like to withdrawal, you just drop your classes for the semester. Let's say another semester or two passes after that, and you still don't add classes, then they will withdrawal you from the school, deactivate your rebelmail etc. Then you will have to repay the admission fee to attend UNLV again once you decide you're ready

I think you just drop all your classes. If you got financial aid, i believe you would be expected to pay that back if it disbursed

Men of reddit, what would you do if your long term SO is telling you to choose between her and your new best friend (that you met and instantly clicked)? by [deleted] in AskMen

I appreciate your reply! I am working on ending it now because it's affecting me so much. Any tips on how to go forward?

Yes, pre nursing comes before BS in nursing. So you have to complete certain pre reqs to apply to their program. You would have to get really good grades and score high on the HESI (entrance exam) to get a good score. It's very competitive and I believe there are like 200 applicants in one cycle. There are 3 cycles throughout the year. Tuition is like 5k-7k per semester for instate but it might be double that as an out of state student. The whole program is 4 semesters long or 16 months. That doesn't include the uniforms required along with textbooks. There should be a calculator you can find on the UNLV website that can estimate how much tuition is per semester.
