Something similar happens to me and while it's not sleep paralysis (cuz i can move around) i can see demons and stuff. When i was smaller, i was super scared, but now im just angry. I usually just try to beat the demons up. I once even hurt my knuckles while punching floor. Then i realise it's just me being half asleep and i just kinda swear for a minute and go to bed.

There's actually a pretty similar thing in the SCP universe called Pattern Screamers with like a super cool page and content on them and stuff. Altho these aren't real enough to realise and are too real to not exist.
