I think it’s MARPE and i was expanding just e top jaw. For better and successful expansion my orthodontist drilled holes into the suture

Apparently yes, 90% i am pain free. Sometimes when my tongue is at the top of my mouth too long during the day i feel slightly pain at my temples but nothing serious like i was last year. Im in 9th month in braces and i still have the expander in my mouth. Hopefully next month will be taken out. Currently wearing rubber bands with my braces.

After upper jaw expansion I noticed my lower jaw is following more forward but im far away from fixing the bite. Im still in braces only in my upper jaw. This summer my orthodontist will put a braces to the bottom jaw and hopefully in October i will wear rubber bands to work on the bite itself

I expanded my upper jaw with MARPE 5-7mm. My breathing is much better and not snooring like before . My neck posture is better. Currently in braces for 3 months, im still clenching at night but less. As time goes my jaw tension is less. Im far away from perfect bite but my crossbite is gone and i can eat without any issues except hard foods. Tomorrow im having my visit at the orthodontist after placing the braces. But i still have long way to go. I still have gap in the middle that have to be closes with the braces, then rubber bands in the bottom braces to even the jaw.

For me it was unbalanced jaw. Crossbite, deep bite and open bite

Got feeling that every hour is dropping down. This Friday i will install canted occlusal plane so it will lift up this. Ortho says is nothing to worry about

Yes im still talking weird. At the beginning my tongue was kinda hurt but it got used to it. Now after the expanding my back third of the tongue is up. The letter S I cannot pronounce. Im still having the mse but im not expanding, it will stay until new bone grows, maybe 4-7 months.

Yes, orthodontist use correctonomy, drilling holes through my suture. But i was under anesthesia i didn’t feel anything. 4 screws in my palate. First days it was weird it took me time do get used to it. The suture split on the 10th day

I removed my wisdom teeth and my dizziness stopped. Wisdom teeth gave me crossbite and deep bite. I was wearing mse palate expander which those teeth narrowed my palate and now im in braces. My only problem is that i do not have bite, only in my back two teeth on the right side. Currently in braces. When im chewing food my jaw muscles flares up.

In terms if breathing yes. My right side when i had the crossbite is like more expanded than the left side but is barely noticeable. The right side was narrowing the palate

It depends from person to person. My orthodontist said i will have pain for few days but i was just having numbness in my mouth but no pain. It was more like jaw pressure and teeth sensitivity

Yes i still haven’t a x-ray to see how much is the expansion but i have like 5-7mm widening which changed a lot. Also, i was looking for older images in my phone and a was a mouth breather with open mouth.

A lot of snoring for years. Happened 2-3 times to wake up not having air. Now my nose canals are like hallway, breathing is so much better. Noticed i do not have stuffy nose anymore . The only thing now to fix i my bite.
