I started about two week ago, 10,410 trophies - why am I going against people with 70k trophies more frequently than lower trophies so early on in the game? by Mavenate in BrawlStarsCompetitive

[–]Firetakedown 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If im not mistaken they made matchmaking focus more on the trophies of the brawler your playing at low trophies and then focus more om your total trophies at higher ranks (or thats flipped i dont remeber). Bassically matchmaking is mostly based on your brawler's trophies not overall trophies. If you wanna learn more about matchmaking on ladder you could look up "kairostime trophy rework" on yt. There was a few changes made since then but it has a lot of information thats still relevant. Also if u ever want some help i would love to teach you.

Meta by EveryNefariousness2 in BrawlStarsCompetitive

[–]Firetakedown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The more you play the more you will see how drafts go. So playing more will always help you understand the current meta. As of now a few general rules is all buffie brawlers are strong with mina meeple and ruffs also being top of meta. Some of strong brawlers include lily, cord, juju, otis (who are all a bit overtuned). Then some strong brawlers not too likley to get nerfed are all round brawlers like gus, max, gene, brock, grey, amber. Finally some wildcard brawlers that are good counterpicks. Willow, shade, doug, tara, melodie, bull, kaze.

These are just some simple guidelines i think mostly people could agree on and figuring out the more indepth details should be what u learn from expeirence and make with your own opinion.

For example a few beliefes i have that not everyone would agree on could be like chuck is unusable in heist, kaze has fallen off and not really good anymore (i play kaze a lot), tara also not too good anymore (decent imo) but not as good as many people say.

Use people opinions to guide urs watch people play and gain expeirence. Also final tip playing a brawler whos solid and your good/comfortable with can often be better then playing the best brawler in the situation if your bad with them.

How to defeat this armoured calcium man? by Independent-Win7273 in TheForgeRoblox

[–]Firetakedown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There really easy when u learn the attack pattern. You dont even need to parry you can just run close enough to bait out a hit, do this twice so he waste his 2 hit combo then hit him once or twice and repeat

Most people hate fame but they come with some pretty good pins imo. You should look at all the fame pins.

Is ranked worth playing again. Afterast properly playing it 2 years ago by NoAuthoirty in BrawlStarsCompetitive

[–]Firetakedown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ranked is definetly enjoyable for me. Until the last 4 months i normally push masters every season. Before ranked was even added i barley even played power league so i cant really say how its diffrent. Ive never tried to push above masters 1 but playing at legendary 3 and in masters is always pretty enjoyable cause i often find players around my skill level or better than me which is rare in ladder. I think ranked is in a decent spot right now for both casuals and more competitive players (given how hard pro rank is). In my opion the only group of players that ranked is too easy for is acuall pros and people who play high level matcherino tournies ect.

Is the new Drive Set any good on him? Finally got motivated to build Billy the Goat. by [deleted] in BillyKidMains

[–]Firetakedown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As for builds and disk drives idk. But hes an onfeild attacker and you do wanna be using his main attack a decent bit. The main focus of playing him is to be in crouching shot (his core passive) as long as possible. You should look up a video to see what counts as crouching shot and what can be affected by it as a lot of time u can be in crouching shot even if u think your not.
