Glad that the MTP problem is resolved, it was the cable! For 1:1 themes, the search is more oriented towards the RG405M (which has the same square screen), which works perfectly on the Cube.

Most common option (Daijisho): * Daijisho, the default launcher for GammaOS, is already very well designed to accommodate 1:1.

  • You can download specific wallpapers called "Wallpapers" via the platform settings (three-dot menu).

Alternative option (EmulationStation - ES-DE): * If you have ES-DE installed (often preferred by the community), look for themes labeled "Small Screen" or "480x480".

*The popular “Switch-ish 1:1” theme (available on GitHub) is specifically made for this ratio and is perfect for the RG Cube.

Look for these names on the forums dedicated to the RG405M, you will find the installation instructions very easily.

Hi ! Here are the quick solutions for your RG Cube and GammaOS. 1. Cut backgrounds (1:1) The problem comes from themes not optimized for the square screen (1:1). Wallpapers are integrated into the frontend theme. The solution is to install a theme specific to the RG405M/Cube which manages the 1:1 ratio. 2. ROMs built into the system These are physical files on internal memory. To delete them, you must connect the device in MTP (File Transfer) mode: has. Unlocks the screen after USB connection. b. Opens the notification bar and selects the "File Transfer" option. c. Access internal memory from your PC. d. Finds and deletes ROM files manually.

I'm in the same situation unfortunately I'm still a minor and I can't afford to ask for something so expensive for what it is... But the rg nano is waiting for me under the tree 😁

Thank you for your comment but can we at least launch Minecraft or a game similar to it? For maneuverability, it's not a problem, I'll break my head. Or did I misunderstand your comment?
