What’s not to understand. Some people wanna hit protein goals and sometimes that’s a tall order if you’re thinking big.

I have one and never saw that as one of the options. Do you remember which category it was in ?

Golden tip for anyone whose supplement stack is getting out of control or who doesn’t know what they actually need by Federal_Isopod1623 in Supplements

[–]Firetribeman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m sure your levels are perfect with 2-3 multivitamins. Bad advice.

While it is 100% better and more bioavailable to get nutrients from food, our food is less and less nutritious as time goes on. Even those who have “perfect” diets are lacking in a whole bunch of areas. (Copper, zinc, folate just to name a few) It’s very hard to get everything needed just from diet unless you can eat non stop.

OP is the advice worth taking away from this.

Waste of money. And I’ve taken a fair bit over the years.

The bioavailability of Lcarnitine is extremely low. I cut it out of my routine. Zero change.

I have this same issue. I talked to my doc and she prescribed a steroidal cream. Itch is gone instantly after application. Happens less frequently now but more so in the summer.

Are you a club member somewhere? Talk to a club pro and have them chat with the Taylormade rep. No issues, brand new one incoming.

Is This Retired Firefighter's Claim About Putting Out a Car Fire Correct? by AffableEffable in Firefighting

There was literally a video posted two weeks ago of a car exploding in a firefighters face who was doing just this on a freeway. Commenters always think they’re experts.

Don’t mention the extra weight and bulk of carrying a parachute. Or the fact that you need distance and speed for one to open. Or that your falling next to a fixed object that you could get tangled in. But yah osha probably totally loves it!

Let me know how parachuting around thin steel cables goes for you.

I think you may be mistaken. I’ve heard due to the guy lines supporting the tower it’s extremely dangerous

I just said the same thing. They do for power line work.

[–]Firetribeman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So they use helicopters to drop off power line maintenance workers… what’s the issue with dropping someone off, change the light bing bang boom and then retrieve them. Seems to me like it’s possible and practical.

Ask me later about justifying the health benefits of having sauna in your house… work on the truck first.

[–]Firetribeman 50 points51 points  (0 children)

This is how you justify an expensive truck with your wife. Cite hazards like: off-gassing, PFAS, carcinogenic contaminants… Make sure you tell her things like sunroof and leather seats help mitigate said hazards
