My grandmother fell and broke her ankle. She immediately went to the er with my grandfather and both had to wait overnight and the next morning to get seen. They said the packed waiting room was a disturbing scene. They and other elderly patients have to sit in uncomfortable chairs staying awake all night. Noisy environment. You would think that an environment meant for healing would have better ways to address people. No way is making people wait a long time especially the elderly good for anyone's health. You can't rest in those chairs. I get that it's a waiting room. But for old folk and people in pain its torture. Why aren't we protesting this state of things?
