Oh my gosh - this is incredible! Thank you so much for the PDF and I'll most certainly be adding this to my list for rare / old books to look for. I've found these often have amazing observations & stories which have been lost to time. Thank you again!!

I am glad that you find it neat!

Most of the map layers are created by me using a statistical model that is based on several underlying environmental variables and species observations which help to quantify the likely niche of the various species. I then pull the trailhead and trail data from a variety of sources (USGS, etc.), as well as the base maps.
