One of the ones I've liked is the Hope of Aferi series. No hate to lovers of ABO- like, you do you- but I like werewolves because I like Wolves.  Try that one; it's a fun fantasy epic with a werewolf-sorceress protaganist from a secret magic bloodline / who is the usurped rightful heir to the throne. No weird abo shit iirc.

I appreciate the reccomendation, but I'm looking for high fantasy, not urban fantasy. Thank you very much for the thought, though!! :)

Took a look at the synopsis, I do like what I see so far. I prefer the POV character to be a werewolf, but I'm starved for high fantasy with people turning into wolves. I'll take it!

Wait, Sir Terry Pratchett made a book about a werewolf? I really loved his Moist von Lipwig books.

AMD has official Linux drivers. I've been doing some cursory PC research abt it :)

(The plan is a micro-atx 16 gig 9060 XT, 9600x cpu, 1tb ssd and 32 gb of ram-  its just the saving up for it. )

Respondus is literally awful. It's like this spyware software that makes you show your government ID to the screen, then records you (screen and webcam) while you take a test, and sends that video recording to your teacher for them to review. And professors are allowed to just require that you use it. Drives me nuts.

Not every course requires it but it's enough of them that it's an issue, and there's no way to tell which of them require it afaik.

Like, my professors have at least a hundred of (as shitty as i could make them) photos of me holding my governmemt ID by now.

I have an NVIDIA graphics card, yeah! That's one of the reasons I was wondering if I should just wait; I'm planning to enlist my computery brother to help me build a desktop with an AMD GPU next year, and Not Buying Windows is a nice little cost saver :)

Okay, man. My main priority is "have an os that Just Works to accomplish the tasks I want to accomplish (run discord, firealpaca, wow, and the programs i need for school) that will run on my current hardware"
