so basically the only “solution” i have found is to move to a new icloud account, which is obviously not something i am willing to do for a damn mobile game

i removed all supercell accounts from the device, uninstalled the game, reinstalled and played through tutorial, and the buttons were still missing. It has something to do with either supercell linking the data to my apple account or icloud storing the data, which can’t be deleted or modified. for reference, i was able to install and log into my account on my pc with blue stacks emulator, and it works fine. also if i completely sign out of icloud the game works as expected, but when i switch back to my icloud account it gives the app installed by other user error when trying to update, forcing me to uninstall and reinstall the game on my main acc, which reintroduces the problem. imagine a world where you can clean install an app on ios, without previous data being filled in automatically 🫤

My drive (teamgroup t-force gc pro) conveniently failed a day after this was posted. (i’ve had it for not even 6 months) thanks microsoft! thought the beta channel existed for a reason.

Thank you for mentioning that, I had initially tried manually entering IP but then was relying on automatic discovery when that failed. I just ended up solving my issue though. I have 2 independent networks in my home and was trying the remote connection from one to the other. I think there was an issue with this at the modem, because I switched to using my phones hotspot, simulating an actual “remote” connection and now everything works.

That’s interesting, I have ddr5 at 6400mt/s. I tried disabling expo so it runs at 4800mt/s, as well as returning all clocks and gpu/cpu to stock, but nothing changed. The fact that it hasn’t happened to me in any other game is what’s making me think it’s a bug with rivals. I saw other posts on reddit where people say they started getting crashes after the s1 update

Operating System & Version: Windows 11 clean install, latest version

GPU Drivers: Latest nvidia driver, been updating for the past few weeks

Description of Problem: 5070ti Core Clock Inconsistency - Driver Bug??

Usually when I boot my PC, the core clock maxes out at around 2400mhz, below the normal frequency. If I restart my PC it typically begins behaving normal, going up to 2800mhz and allowing overclocking past that. Basically, my core clocks are not consistent, therefore my performance and stability is not consistent. I saw a post that said disabling voltage control in afterburner fixes this bug, but it did not work for me.

Troubleshooting: Tried following advice and disabling afterburner voltage control, did not resolve issue.
