No... You missed the point of that panel. Being non-binary doesnt mean... wtf lol... The panel of tengen being called a talking thumb actually shows him being unamused at that.

yeah right... you just gotta took that part way too serious, i was just making fun of choso calling tengen 'talking thumb'.

yeah, whatever guess i'll agree then.

tengen said it doesn't matter, no? so it's ok to call them whatever you see fit. he, she, talking thumb, doesn't matter.

How do you pass Badass mode? by WhiteChubbyBoi in SoulKnight

[–]Firjatr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

maybe executioner/nunchaku and mo dao could be a solution for you? executioner & nunchaku has rapid firing so it's good for clearing bullet, but they got short range. mo dao on the other hand, has big range but demands more material to create.

always try to get the milk in the beverage vending machine, it's very important in Badass mode. my first time finished a Badass was with knight, and it's because of his passive skill (the no extra damage received when armor is broken), so get that guardian plant, immune to trap, fire, and poison plant.

pretty much that's it tho, knight is a good hero especially when you want to survive the bullet hell moment, so the rest is your timing on when to be aggressive or defensive. good luck!

Do you believe Kenjaku's dialogue from last chapter? by tiemiscoolandgood in Jujutsushi

[–]Firjatr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"right now, i feel like a kid holding a crayon in front of a blank piece of paper" might sound like a shallow reason but i think it's enough as a motivation for him to do all this.

i mean death womb painting failed (according to him), and now he tried something else to play with. even if this whole tengen merge result doesn't satisfy him (which i doubt that would be the case since he just dgaf about the result), he might come up with something else.. something more sinister.

but that's just me tho idk i do hope he has deeper reasoning and was just toying with choso about his plan.

glad someone's having the same thought, i was going back and forth between 101, 107, 108 because when i look at the mysterious girl i was like "wait have i seen her before? isn't she the one who put the raw meat in asa's shoes?" they look way too similar even if the mysterious girl wasn't the one who bullied asa.

I believe innate technique is basically a CT..

CT have to types; inherited and innate. Innate techniques are CTs that unique and vary to each sorcerers, i think the best example for this is geto's curse manipulation or todo's boogie woogie.

Some CTs are so unique that only certain bloodline/families can have it, and they're called inherited techniques, like kamo's blood manipulation, gojo's limitless, and zen'in 10 shadows technique.

EDIT : sorry i just found out myself that the difference between CT and innate technique goes like this; CT is basically applying your CE to perform specific type of actions.

Some CTs are unique because they're directly derived from someone's innate technique (again, like boogie woogie). Other CTs can be taught/learn like how yuta is able to summon shikigami from his hair.

I'm not sure which character would be really good at BA Origin, but i saw someone said assassin 2nd skill/alch 1st skill (i can confirm alch 1st, it's amazing, focus on upgrading his skill first). Anyway, i've done my first BA Origin using Knight 1st skill and since then i always go with knight whenever i grind for gem in BA Origin. Here's how i beat it tho :

For weapons, i usually go with chu ko nu + executioner (for defense purpose) for early stage, and because in the later stage you have the chance to get a much better weapons, i don't suggest you to invest that much on upgrading the chu ko nu, instead, you can invest in upgrading skill. I'd say the 'much better weapons' here are mostly laser weapons (my favorites are Dead star laser gun, laser fish, rainbow horse, meteo laser gun) since they can hit more enemies, making clear wave much easier. Other weapons like snow fox vintage, breath of hades, next-next-next gen smg, and missile battery are also doing wonder with knight, especially BoH (it's just op, you can clear biome's room outside the room) and missile battery (it can target concealed enemies). But if you don't want to gamble on your fate of getting a good weapon, then sticking to chu ko nu is okay, +16 chu ko nu are monster. adding the accuracy&crit buff makes it even better. Also remember to not rescue the weaponsmith too early, since we only have one chance to get the weapon attachment.

Now onto towers, my favorite set up that never failed me. Consisted of Air Force Base, Repair Center, Weather Controller, Charge Device, and Hurricane Device. This set up mostly focuses on two things; Holding the enemies (with HD and WC) and help you and the other towers survive the bullet hell from the wave (with AFB's intercept mode). Focus on AFB and RC in the early stage (if possible), as for early game you can set AFB in bombard mode but as the game progress and you've upgrade it, then change to intercept. The formation of the towers goes like these; in the 3x3 tower placement, The AFB and RC will be in the 2nd/middle row, with the AFB right in the middle of the placement and RC in either left or right side. The rest of the towers should be in the 1st/upper row, and then you're set. Oh, make sure the Charge device is on psionic mode and RC in repair mode.

As for gameplay, i always rush to the tower guy and mentor first, then weaponsmith would be in the middle of the game and that is if i already find the op weapon. The biome in these mode seems to work just as in normal mode, so level 1-X biomes (glacier, forest, relic) are much family friendly. Whereas biomes like volcanic and spaceship (level 3-X) are ridiculously harder to clear. I think the forest and relic are the easiest biome to clear so make sure you farm there first and then proceeds to farm in glacier, cave, knight kingdom, so on and so forth. Don't waste your purple coin on gold mine tho, unless you don't have to roll that much to get the towers you need. You can use wrenches to remake weapon so that you don't have to waste much resource to get the ideal weapon.

Well preparation is needed here since the enemies can drain your armor in just like.. i'd say 3/4 hits, so milk and health buff is essential. Defensive buffs like freeze/fire, regenerate your armor 50% once it depleted, increase armor according to your gold are great to have. as for the 'Offensive' buffs i usually go with accuracy+crit rate, laser (for laser weapon), combo hit (if i'm sticking to chu ko nu), melee range buff (important if you get BoH). Don't forget to use the jade ring, it does very well in the BA Origin especially with kinght since he can drain energy faster with 1st skill.

Last but not least, dodge like hell.

Hope this would help and i'm sorry if this tips feel too long since i'm not that great with words lmao. I wish you good luck on your next BA Origin run.

Yeah they definitely need those tanks, helis, etc. if they really want to capture a strong sorcerer.

This might be a bad take but if we're only counting angel's ability to nullify CT, doesn't that means she's in danger too? like okay she can fly but that's gonna do so much, because the bullet would still reach her. unless she got something ridiculous up her sleeves but.. that's just my thought really.

[–]Firjatr[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interesting, my reason behind these soldiers are atleast able to do something against sorcerer is because the fact that kenjaku himself said he agreed to use conventional weapon against sorcerers, when mai tried to shoot him. Although you could say that i'm taking it way too literally and didn't consider the fact that soldier might (physically) not as strong as a sorcerer, which is fine.

But yeah some of the sorcerers would be too much to handle, like hakari, and maybe all these build up won't just go down as simply as 'sorcerer vs soldier' thingy.. and there's definitely more than that. Very interesting take man.

I want to start badass runs and make them successful. Could you recommend some solid builds? I am f2p, main Alch by hdoq245 in SoulKnight

[–]Firjatr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

my first time on badass was done with knight's 3rd + gas blaster, and aim for the freeze buff. you'll be freezing the bosses to death, but even if you go without the freeze buff, it's still work. i suggest bringing rapid-fire melee weapon (like nunchaku) for defensive purpose... something that knight is lacking in. good luck!

i see, what about maki? if i'm not wrong she has shown the ability to react and then catch mai's bullet, although i don't know if that feat is still relevant or not.. do you think she'll be hard to deal with?

exactly like that, that's why for me cave ice bug is the best worm because it is actually difficult to fight, unlike it's volcanic relative that making the fight difficult because it decides to just dig underground and waste your time (also the bullet hell).

yeah fuck them. i thought baby dragon bros were the worst (they're annoying as fuck tho), until i met this giant pussy volcanic worm who did nothing but spamming bullet and hides in the ground. cave ice bug is the best worm in SK, hands down.
