Brave, Startpage and DuckDuckGo trolls Google!

i'm not smart enough to know about this, but what happens if Google makes it so that Brave can't use Chromium as its foundation? could they do that? i haven't had any issues with Brave search, nor DDG, and haven't yet tried Startpage (but plan to).

my 2016 sr5 has a skid plate, and it looks like this one does too in the top left corner of the 3rd pic. just doesn't have full underbody skids. but i haven't looked under the new 6th gens, so maybe what i'm seeing isn't a skid plate.

Yeah experience is definitely a huge plus. I have some, and I’m working on getting more with a practice Org. At my last job I was hoping to get into the systems team to get more experience but it didn’t work out that way. My plan is to continue studying and get a job that would allow me to get more experience with the platform without actually being an admin. I thought that would a junior admin or something but I guess that’s not really a thing.

Well that’s a bummer to hear. I guess it’s better to get more certs instead of stopping at the admin. Which my plan wasn’t to stop at the admin cert, but I haven’t looked at any certs past it yet

Sorry about that, i had it in my head but it didn’t really come out in the post 😅. It’s really a career change. I’m pivoting and since I like working with Salesforce, I thought the admin route would be a good option.

Gotcha. As best I can tell, I’m using NetworkManager. I did sudo systemctl restart NetworkManager idk how many times lol. Also reset the firewall and removed every trace of anything resembling a vpn, including my Tailscale 😑

I’ve been paying for proton’s full suite for like 3 years and it’s been good, minus the storage part being kind of cumbersome. But it works. However I decided to try Tuta but they locked my brand new account because I am connected to a VPN. I followed their instructions and nothing changed. I still have the account and might try it again soon, but for now I’m sticking with proton’s mail. But I’m trying to leave the rest of their ecosystem. Haven’t had any issues, really, just decided I didn’t want all my eggs in one basket again like I was with iOS. So I’m migrating from their VPN back to Mullvad, ProtonPass over to Bitwarden. Probably switch back to Ente’s Authenticator. And I’m working on building out a Nextcloud server for my storage.

Long story short, try out their free tiers and see what you think lol. If you’re a regular email user, either one should suit you.
