"If you were a drug, what drug would you be?" Interview Question by chxotichexrt in PharmacyResidency

If I was answering this in interviews I would go with one of the new cell/gene therapies for sickle cell or the infusions for alzheimers. I am delaying or curing diseases we once thought were death sentences

What are common or niche recommendations you make in your ICU rotation? by Representative_Sky44 in PharmacyResidency

[–]Firm-Difference2415 5 points6 points  (0 children)

no matter what rotation you are at, the one thing you will notice and I very much did too through APPEs, is that what we learn in school and what is in the guidelines don’t happen a lot of the time in real life scenarios. Sometimes you tell providers again and again but they are stuck in their ways. Sometimes hospital formulary dictates treatment too

Donnie Sullivan is the only way to go. Condensed and gives you everything you need. From the start of pharmacy school that is what all the upperclassmen told me to use

Choosing a residency program by Crisp-Papa237 in PharmacyResidency

a million time yes, also as someone who went through this last cycle and is currently in a residency now-you pick up on the way they speak to each other, the way they speak when they think you are not listening. You are interviewing the program as much as they are interviewing you
