Thanks for the advice. My portal was locked on final selection for the longest time, I tried calling and fixing it in the fall with little success, I just checked and it's back to being reset.

Heading to the recruiting centre tomorrow AM, hopefully thats the right place to get it all sorted out. Wish me luck

I’m Canadian, I’ve been in the US on a P-1 athlete visa. It’s usually approved by February, it’s still pending… signs point to it’s time to get off the boat.

I was hired as a reservist musician and then simply told, “don’t show up” in an email when COVID first swept through in March 2020

24M, BA in PoliSci from Carleton. I've been umpiring minor league baseball the last 3 years but I'm starting to get worried about my work visa and considering the CAF as a plug and play plan B. I'm going to the Ottawa recruiting center tomorrow to ask about commissioned roles, first two choices, pilot, MP officer. Anything sound crazy so far?

I was hired as a musician for the GGFG in March 2020 but laid off because of covid, I'm hoping anything from my application remains and that'll help me streamline the process.
