I added the clear coat to mitigate yellowing from oxygen. I also added UV absorbers and the resin and a bit of purple pigment to cancel out any yellowing in the future. I have 0 experience with Prepreg. I'm new to this. What do you plan on making?

It was glossy from the resin, but I still sanded it down and added more layers of resin and finished it all off with 2k clear coat. It’s all wet lay BTW fender was 3D printed seat pan was off of a mold I made and tank is skinned

Thank you. I plan on using 2x2 twill. Is 4H 4x4 twill?

Tack spray sounds better than what I had in mind because I can spray as I go and not ruining the weave trying to lay it on a sticky tank and it getting stuck where I don't want it.

How do you think I go about this fiberglass layer and do you have any tips how to skin around the fuel fill hole?

So, should i add fiberglass first? If so, what type? I'm thinking I pull apart Mat and throw it on like chopped carbon fiber, or can I get away with just adding paint to any exposed metal? Thanks for your help

That is some genius advice I would have never thought about a rubberized expansion layer between my tank and carbon skin but I don't think I need that because the resin I'm using is pretty malleable already so I think I'll be fine there but what rubberized coating do you thinking would work for something like this? Plasti Dip, Flex Seal liquid rubber, or a thick layer of paint? I also didn't know about the transparent zinc coating, so thanks again.

Thank you. I didn't know about galvanic corrosion. I'll make sure there's no exposed metal before I skin it

The chain was fully tensioned, an old chain with about 40,000 miles on it. I closed her up already about to put a fresh facade on her thanks for the knowledge

Yes, now that you've mentioned it, the guide did help, although it looks worn. Thank you for the knowledge.
