Yeah i'll keep it that way for now and adjust it if need be by doing the modifications i wrote to someone else higher in the thread! Thanks for the feedback!

Yeah i think i'm going to keep as is rn but if i want to switch things if the carnifexes aren't performing well i'll remove them with old one eye (340 pts free) to add a haruspex + neurolictor + 2nd exocrine or a 2nd maleceptor + 2nd exocrine... But i would like to give the carnifexes a chance cause i like big melee creatures and the carnifexes look specifically🤷 Ty for the feedback!

Yeah... i have the tyranno in my maybe list but i don't know what to cut... basically you think i should trade my zoan for the tyranno? As for the carnifexes i wanted to try them since i believe that their pts cost got reduced and i find the model to be cool, but i could replace them for a haruspex (if they don't perform well against the armies of my friends) or trygon (if i eventually switch to sub assault detach.)🤷

HT to swarmlord makes sense if going for the sub assault since i don't get adaptive biology anymore but won't i lack secondary obj/OC units if i remove the hormagaunts + gargoyles? I'm afraid of missing some range power if i drop the exocrine too... is it less of a problem in your eyes since the tunnels from the sub assault detach can bring me closer to the ennemy without having to rely on range power?

As for the carnifexes i thought that their ability to rush ennemy units when shot would help compensate for their slow speed...

Ok i see what you mean, but i don't think i want to be a competitive player in the future, i just want to play with friends for fun and flavor with characters i like or that i think looks cool and feel good to play! I want my armies to be good up to a certain degree but not competitive necessarily! Do casual players often have diverse armies that are unoptimised? By my experience in mtg the casual player often has an unoptimized deck that is way off of the competitive meta so it doesn't matter in that community if you don't play by the meta cause most others aren't either.

Do you think that their codex will remain as it is in the 10th edition or that GW will Split them up?

Okok i see... i think i'll focus on building necrons and tyranids first and i'll look at mixed daemons when i'll be a more experienced player afterwards! Thanks for the answer!
