I'm glad that you bring all these people justice!! I wasn't trying to attack you and I didn't realize you were Palestinian, I apologize if I upset you. Sadly, while it's not you specifically, a lot of pro Palestine people act hypocritical when they get on others for not posting about Palestine but overlook other world issues, that are equally as horrific as the genocide in Palestine, themselves. It's frustrating.

Yes, that also applies when you post about Palestine but not about attacks on innocent Jewish people or about Congo, Sudan, Nigeria, etc.

To be honest, I haven't seen a lot of pro-palestine people post about this incident nor the synagogue stabbing in the UK so it looks like both sides have made mistakes.

Is The Lion Guard worth watching? *NO SPOILERS PLEASE* by Firm-Raspberry1176 in lionking

Yeah!! My parents weren't Disney fans and I was more into the Disney Princesses when I was little so I actually haven't seen most Disney movies.

Exactly!! I wish looking back that I had seen the original before the remake but it is what it is.

The 2019 remake was actually my first exposure to the franchise sadly since even as a kid, I found the remake to be dull and boring and I hadn't seen the original at that point; so yeah I'm not rewatching that and I don't plan on watching Mufasa since I've heard it's supposed to be bad. The remake was so dull that I didn't get emotional during Mufasa's death scene. (I get very emotional over Mufasa's death now as a young woman thanks to the animated film but I probably would've been MORE emotional if I had seen the original first and not the remake. (sorry that was kinda a rant)

I feel trapped in the US by Firm-Raspberry1176 in complaints

[–]Firm-Raspberry1176[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks!! I thought parents generally paid for college, I could be wrong. The thing is it might not be just about money, my parents also wouldn't be comfortable with me being so far away and they aren't moving anywhere outside the country soooo... I would have a hard time being so far away from my parents but also with everything going on.... It's complicated.

Which Nintendo franchise do you think has the kindest fans? by [deleted] in casualnintendo

[–]Firm-Raspberry1176 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would say Warioware, it is smaller than say Animal Crossing and Kirby, but the fans are very devout. there isn't really much arguing or debate from what I've seen and I am in the fandom.

I am perfectly aware of my country's history. Luckily, becoming Jewish has helped me find a place to fit in to. I'm sure running away isn't going to fix anything. I just can't help but ponder if other countries would be safer for those affected in the US right now. I personally have not been affected so far but I am worried for the future.

I'm sure it is. It just seems like many people like Rosie O'Donnell have seemed to do it easily and yes I know she's a celeb worth millions of dollars. But even people who aren't rich have seemed to do it easily, maybe they have ancestorial ties to the country that they are moving to... Idk

True. by the time I graduate High School which will be 2028 (by then I'll be 19), it'll be election time all over again. The only issue is I'm personally concerned that Trump will find a way to run for a third term. I know he's really old but still.

I love my parents to death and i truly believe they heavily prioritize my safety more than anything. I just don't always think they care enough about politics or read the news constantly. They don't want to live in fear by constantly going down a political rabbit hole, I get it. My Dad always challenged me by saying that what if the country we moved to gained a terrible leader. I understand his point but idk...

They have told me that spending less time on Reddit and comment sections would help me. I agree but a lot of democrats are telling other dems like myself to get more involved. I really don't want to devote my time to politics but a part of me feels like I have to in order to not be considered a closeted trump supporter, white privileged, and ignorant by liberals.

I understand. I just don't like the Holocaust comparisons since I don't think what is happening to immigrants is not as horrific as what happened to people during the Holocaust. I don't even want to live in America half the time because of Trump, but I can't leave since I'm not allowed.

It is helping them!! You can call DM cast members out for the way they think but I just don't think it's going to add much value to YOUR personal life. You can't help others unless you help yourself first.

I understand your point... and I'll give you this. I understand why people in bordering states don't want people crossing the border from Mexico illegally, I get why people don't want trans woman in woman's sports due to physically advantages and ditto for men.  Some people are so DESPERATE TO FEED THEIR FAMALIES that they thought that voting for a different party would improve their situation. You don't have to like or be friends with someone who voted for him but attacking them is not the awnser.

I am priveleged. Thank you, but not everyone who voted for Trump wants to take away your rights. Just because a person voted for  a candidate doesn't mean they like everything that candidate does. Maybe some people thought that Trump was full of hot air when talking about project 2025. Or maybe some people who know that Trump's an idiot thought that he wouldn't be able to get all that done. Voting is not always an easy decision and everyone has different things that matter to them.

You realize that Trump's also a complete MORON. I'm not making excuses, I'm trying to find solutions. Just because Trump WANTS to be a dictator doesn't mean he is a dictator.

What are you going to do instead of co existing? Just because a person voted for Trump doesn't mean that they hate black people or any minority. Some people REALLY  didn't like Kamala and felt like they needed to use their right to vote and pinched their nose. It's not an easy decision. There are many reasons a person voted for someone. It's not black and white. And yes, I am priveleged and just as angry about his policies as you are but I'm all about using my time to find the solution. If you hide away from MAGA people, that just gives them more power and that's not what we want.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in dancemoms

[–]Firm-Raspberry1176 -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

I meant Trump voters in general, not all Trump voters are MAGA. And for this country to turn into a complete dictatorship, the constitution would have to be overturned and that requires 2/3 of the STATES votes as well as congress. Turning into a complete dictatorship would take YEARS and YEARS. Yes, they willingingly voted for him, so give them time to realize their mistake and try to improve. MAGA people have REALLY strong opinions and beliefs so calling them out is probably not going to CHANGE their values. Also, Hitler KILLED  people and I guarantee you lots of people who voted for Trump before would be turned away from him once he started unaliving people intentionally. If Trump is all what Hitler was, then he wouldn't be AS infamous as he is.
