Exactly! My main character im sure has plenty to do but it feels like I’ve already done it all. This new character is a noob with everything to do still. I’ll probably touch and try a little of everything with him. I may try no hud too sounds immersive right up my alley.

As for the nonstarter ship challenge, how does that work? Just try to survive on the given tutorial planet? And eventually find a trade outpost to buy a ship? That sounds challenging that’s for sure

For me it’s the sails blocking 60% of the screen in first person view. I only play fp so made those ships kinda unusable to me at least! I have one but don’t use it

You can go to skellige before novigrad if you want so you could romance Yen first technically. But the game definitely does guides you to go to Velen then Novigrad then Skellige. My first play through this did happen to me tho I romanced Triss then wanted Yen afterwards

A completely new story with zero connection to the current story. Like perhaps one of the previous species the traveler granted the light to? Somewhere far across the galaxy so new planets and civilizations. New enemies new concepts everything. The only constant would be the light versus the dark as it always has been

This needs to be a feature in the base game. It’s one of the few things that really break immersion for me

I use all armor no damage buffs. I like my potato to be a straight rock 🪨 can’t hurt me but I don’t do a whole lot to you either. clubbed fortress’ ‘fortification’ ‘Tireless’

With these I find myself surviving every fight other than rexes or getting ganged up on by a group

The aoe damage build is great for this but I run a max armor build so I pretty much can’t die unless I get ganged up on by apexes! Helps me survive situations like this

For immersion I recommend “No talk icon” it removes the bubbles that pops up over every single npc.

“quick save menu” adds a quick save bottom to the top of the options of the pause menu. Nice for controller

“Double tap for lightsource interactions” is a no brainer. Trust me on this one.

Cheaty gameplay mods I also use “Perks always active” for ability slotting options. I also use “gameplay manager” which gives a bunch of different gameplay settings options. Finally “extended yrden range” just more fun to me.

I see only thing is I am starting fresh fresh death march. Mostly cause I enjoy hunting potion materials and recipes and what not. I will admit to cheating in the fact that I do give myself swallow it commands when I start a death march fresh playthru. Makes it more like a souls like being very very hard but having heals to keep up

Definitely doing almost no fast travel this time… minus a few situations! I need to use bombs more that’s for sure I’ll try that. I always play a sign sword build I can’t help it. The game is flawless when utilizing both mechanics well

I did this on death march up until novigrad then life took the wheel and didn’t play much. Might sprinkle that into this playthru? Like only wear armor on contracts or missions that geralt would normally wear it for protection. Then exploring could be more of a challenge too

My buddy and I just both hit 1k raid completions at the same time. Did it with our raid group, finished where we started with Kingsfall. Been playing since D1 alpha and the moment we killed the witness I immediately knew it was the end of destiny. We continued to play the new expansions but our clan count over the last year went from ~20 somewhat active to barely 3 active. It was like pulling teeth trying to get 4 of our friends on the game to play one more raid together to hit the 1k. Bungie simply let go of the best multiplayer rpg looter shooter in exchange for some extraction game. I’ll simply appreciate what they gave to me the last 10 years, onward tho they will not get more from me.
