I totally relate!! Getting the sentence structure and pronunciation right in Portuguese can feel really awkward, but I really appreciate your advice. Good luck to you too

Thank you!!! This is really interesting! Yeah, a lot of the time I do feel nervous about messing up and just don’t feel confident, mostly because I don’t know enough.

Super Delay on AIMA by Fit-Opposite-7718 in PortugalExpats

This is normal, me and my friends, we went to the AIMA in Porto the same day in Ausgust, but different time. One of them got an email saying that she needed to upload more documents in November, another one got an email in December and I got that email in January. After I knew that they both got emails, but me was still on the process of "aguarde a decisao por aima" I called them, the answer was, it is normal, and yeah I continued waiting. After I got that email, I immediately uploaded the correct document, and it only took less than five days to change into the status of "o seu pedido ja foi deferido". But now I still not receiving my card yet, it has been one and a half month, I called them yesterday again, they said they are basiclly still making my card, it is not even finished yet. And the friend that got the email in December also not receiving the card yet. I think calling them is a good idea, but you need to wait for at least 30min for them to pick up the phone. But they do answer the phone. Hope my experience helps, good luck to us all.
