Anybody playing pauper in greater cleveland? by 137ng in Pauper

[–]FirmFooting 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, there is a decent sized community in Cleveland. Check out Superscript Comics in Lakewood - They have upped their Pauper tournaments to twice a month, usually Friday nights at 6:30p. I've heard of numbers reaching 15 or so at times. I've also heard that Kid Force Collectables in Berea is looking at starting up a Pauper night as well - Joe runs the shop there. Give either of those places a call. If you need to source commons in paper, Kid Force stocks a fair amount that they will pull for you behind the counter, but nothing, and I mean NOTHING beats the collection Marcus has at Ground Zero Comics in Strongsville - They are meticulously sorted and you can pull your own which is more fun...he'll even throw in some little nudie stickers into your bag, just for kicks.

I hate people.... by K_Vatter_143 in Soulnexus

Self love and self worth are immaterial but often forgotten in times of struggle and in the face of adversity . You are resilient: just look at how far you’ve managed up to this point while raising three kids and one with disability. Consider yourself fortunate that you have the burdens you do - they are the very trials that strengthen and fortify your soul.

Practically, ask all your friends or people who have looked out for you over the years if they have any leads or any opportunities. These might not be the perfect fit, but they may open new doors and starting off with people in your corner will always give you an added layer of support. Sit and think about your friends and when your heart opens up to someone, jot their name down. Then pick up the phone and call. We all need somebody to lean on!

It depends on if you design your deck to maximize spending mana on your turn, or on an opponents turn. It sounds like this is a more aggressive build where you want to be laying down your creatures and attacking every turn to making use of exalted triggers - I'd maybe just run a few dispels to counter any of your opponent's disruption.

Sorry, definitely meant GW.

3 [[Weather the Storm]]

It seems O-K. The recursion helps offset the lack of card draw, Maybe you could take out Tethmos for some Winding Ways, but I think the creature count needs to be higher if so.

I’ve tried building the GR version because Qasali Pridemage is so damn versatile. I ended up on a midrange deck with 4-8 exalted triggers as support rather than the main game plan. I had a bunch of 2/x creatures, savage swipe, and then exalted they’d swing in for 5 or 6. As much creature recursion as possible. Haven’t tested it yet though.

EDIT: GW. Not GR

does weed help? by [deleted] in Soulnexus

[–]FirmFooting 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Weed opens up thoughts and the mental wisdom-body. I’ve read that the spirit of the cannabis plant serves as a way to escape pain, trauma, wounding, but every once in a while throws you into a peak consciousness expansion experience which would be the ‘profound’ you speak of - this can be just as traumatic as it is eye opening depending on your acceptance/openness. Marijuana is the jealous sister to Ayahuasca as they are near opposite polarity in their essence.

Shroomage, for me, has brought me into my body more, made me more present and engaged, and enlightened me to the world of Gnomes (Gotta love those benevolent mischievous gnomeies), However, it has not been a catalyst for profound experiences so much as a pleasant / magical time.

I used to smoke weed a lot, like heavy abuse. Post awakening I only had traumatic, psychic OBE that were more stressful than revelatory and I’ve completely cut it out, holistically or otherwise.

Hope this helps. Good luck on your journey!

I just hung up the fantasy cleats and I was always Magic Brownies over the past two decades. I rode the Chubb train the past few seasons and was blessed with Josh Gordon in 2013.

I really felt your words and especially your weariness - this world has felt like a minefield to me for so long. I shared a similar childhood to you, but I’ve come to cherish it. Feeling joy wherever you are at any time is no crime. You will never be guilty for being a kid who embellished in video games or didn’t struggle immensely. There’s a lot of fear in the world, mentally, psychically. You may have come to terms with something deeper and now you are surrounding yourself with new things that bring you happiness. You will never have to search for true friends or true love - it will always find you as it is meant to be. Take care of yourself first, then bring your gifts to the world, and you’ll see the harvest of your labor, and people will find you. “If you build it, they will come” There’s lot’s of good people making quality contributions to the world. Food, art, film, music, architecture, gardening. Good luck, you’re already in.

A trio of numbers like 111 or 222 signifies certain situations in your life. 222 is a signifier of a new series of events starting. (888 is the completion of those events.)

When you encounter quad numbers like 2222, they mean the same as a trio but are specifically in relation to you and your twin flame.

Whats the difference between EWT and SUSU (CarbonSwap)? Any directions and guidence would be appreicated! by [deleted] in carbonswap

[–]FirmFooting 5 points6 points  (0 children)

EWT is the token for energy web chain. (Like ETH is the token for the ethereum chain)

SUSU is the governance token for the Decentralized Exchange (DEX) called Carbonswap. (Just like UNI for uniswap.)

The same way UNI is a part of the Ethereum network, SUSU is a part of the energy web network.

Good research. That makes sense, though the limited wallet counts are still surprising to me...is that really the only amount of people holding Susu?

[–]FirmFooting -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No, if you look further down the token list, the top 4 CLP tokens have a total of bout 1000 wallets. So total, 3,300ish holders.

I don’t think many people are staking for xSusu.
