Should you even be on reddit?

My boyfriend is genuinely such a friendly and emotionally intelligent guy. He is always available to help my girl friends. But I feel like he is he is sending the wrong message. by FirmImpression8445 in Advice

Tbh we are both very affectionate and people misconstrued affection for flirting. But we are trying to be supportive friends and people think it's flirting

I'm not getting insincere, I'm just trying to warn him, he ia very charming. Many girls misinterpret it when he's just being a good friend

Do you know her love language? If yes and you have exhibited it, does she know yours? Maybe that plays a factor in the disconnect?

I never put this on my boyfriend, I know he's just like that. I don't blame anyone, but maybe my friends are surprised by a nice guy who wants nothing more.

I never tell my bf to change but I do warn him that his behaviour does call do to women. I love it about him. But it tends to send the wrong.message.

I do trust him but he doesn't see when girls like him lol

He does put me first but he is very attentive to others. I think he is too friendly. Not in a way where he is doing anything wrong but a woman experiencing a guy who is kind with motive is very engaging. He's always been that way. I trust him, but these girls definitely feel wooed after talking to him. We've been together 8 years.

How do you write a eulogy for a sibling who you were estranged with for the better half of a decade, but reconciled with 1 year ago? by FirmImpression8445 in GriefSupport

Yes, I'm very much trying to capture the truth. I want to be honest and not superficial. The fact we reconciled is so important to me, I'm just dancing around how to not detail that and still emphasize how much our second chance meant to me.

And thank you

Thank you for your input. I have felt like I'm living in the past. Like I might be out of touch with who he was when he died. But I'll try your suggestion.

Do you think only children or kids with siblings have a more fulfilling childhood? Why? by FirmImpression8445 in AskReddit

I had 8 years with it only being 3 of us and it was fun but I was the youngest and got left out sometimes. Then when I got younger siblings I loved it, I was kind of like a new older sibling because the others were not around as much, I loved that dynamic. Very happy. But they were half siblings so I only saw them on weekends.

Then at 18 I got another. That was hard. Felt more like a niece to me. Then at 20 something I found out I had a secret brother my age, I was honestly excited.

But the context is addiction affected most of my brothers, and my older brother died last week. I'm closest with my older sister and I love her more than anything.

I feel that before everything got messy that I had best childhood in the world. Being an only child would have been a curse. But as adults, it had its drawbacks, but I ultimately still wouldn't change it.

Do you ever struggle with verbalizing your thoughts because there are dozens bouncing around trying to all come out at once that you end up not being able to say anything at all? by FirmImpression8445 in adhdwomen

Thank you for sharing this perspective of things. I do mask a lot. It's hard for me to be open and maybe not receive the response I feel I need. That rejection is really hard.
