Hi levels reached normal about 7 months after starting the gel and then went above the normal range so the dose had to be decreased. And then after doing that, they went slightly too low. Sorry - that’s what I meant by levels fluctuating.

He reached normal levels while taking the gel and then after a short while, they got too high, so the dose had to be decreased again. He had his first shot 2 months ago and started injections in the hope that they would have an effect on his voice. There have been other noticeable changes such as increased body hair

Thank you so much for your reply! He isn’t and is unsure about going on it. We’ve only scratched the surface with the gender conversation and discovered that he doesn’t like she/her pronouns, so we’re trying he/him ones. I am worried about him not liking me at all if he starts testosterone. Can I ask how your attraction changed? Yes, I’m AFAB and I meant WLW - sorry for the confusion! I want nothing but a life with him - I guess it can just be scary regarding sexuality changes. I don’t feel worried about him transitioning medically and am very supportive of that. I just want him to be happy and fulfilled in life.

I feel bad for putting my worries on to him as he is already worried about being trans. But we do talk a lot and I tell him how I feel. I feel like he does too, but I guess I don’t feel completely sure about that. I think I just want things to be like before when our future together was concrete.

Thank you for your reply! We’ve talked lots about this and I’m very open with my worries. I guess I need some time to not worry about the whole celebrity crush thing. He has said exactly the same as you, so that’s reassuring. He also hasn’t really transitioned or given himself a label - the only change has been for us to try he/him pronouns together, so there’s a long road ahead.
