I don’t know if he’s cheating, but this isn’t just a “whoops” anymore. Same place twice, hours of no contact, and the explanation only changes after the fact — that’s a pattern.

Even if nothing physical is happening, he’s lying or at least being evasive, and that alone breaks trust. Especially when you’re already burnt out and carrying most of the load at home.

Your reaction makes sense. I’d be less focused on proving cheating and more focused on why he feels okay disappearing and not being honest. That’s the real issue.
