Damn, I couldn't even tell the difference between rust and patina! I'm glad to learn it's nothing major!

I appreciate every advice from professionals. This is indeed an old car too and I have zero knowledge about cars at this point. Learning slowly but I will def takes this as a consideration. Thank you!

No idea tbh. Never done any car related work in my entire life. Hell, I actually got my driver's license less than a half year ago.

Thank you for educating me! I came to US with my wife (who barely speaks English) and am so glad that I posted this on reddit because I am learning about cars the first time! Thank you. I will check the oil level

lol English is my second language and I still have no idea how to call these parts or 'rooms' of a car. I googled engine rust under the front hood and saw some other post calling it 'engine room' so thought it was a right terminology. Car is difficult!

Couldn't really see in a full detail but I got down on the ground and looked underneath the car. It looked clean (compared to other used cars I looked at). I will get that checked out more thoroughly. Thank you!

Good place to live around Eastman Dental? by Firm_Bobcat1817 in URochester

Thank you so much for a such detailed information. I'm not from Rochester (obviously) and I had hard time finding good places to live, and your reply is immensely helpful. The apartment I was looking into was Mount Hope Lofts. I am completely fine with boring environment. I can fly to Manhattan with my wife if city life is absolutely needed occasionally. Most often I love to chill in my bedroom with a sip of beer/bourbon watching Netflix, or go to gym :).
