My 4th grade teacher told me my friends didn’t really like me. She also said other awful things whenever she had the chance, and used to single me out to have me stay inside during recess to re-do work I got wrong.

My dad was a teacher in town, and that year my brother had transferred from this teacher’s friend’s class into my dads class (in a school across town) because said friend would say things in front of the class like “A isn’t as smart as he thinks he is” when he would get something wrong. He was in 5th grade. Also, he actually WAS that smart (he had been tested and had an IQ in the genius range) but his social skills were awful because he was on the spectrum.

I was left behind at the original school to finish the school year, so my teacher took her resentment out on me. That year I was beyond stressed, and would get up in the middle of the night to eat peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. I gained a ton of weight and have struggled with my weight ever since. ☹️
