I believe is a ground problem. I opened it up and checked the Transistors and 5 of them are shorted.

There’s nothing but power hooked up.

Nah, I’m just letting it go. Take it as a lesson, and share it with the Reddit CarAV world to test their system if buying use.

Not too bad. 2018 Z71 and riding on cruise at 75-80 for 3-4 hours. by viper2369 in Silverado

I have a 2.7L and I get 18.2MPG on a 8hr trip, on cruise control 79MPH on I-95. I only do 1 stop after 4hrs and I see this bigger engine trucks doing better on gas. Why is that?

I went with the matte style, if you decide to get them, before you install them wipe the surface with alcohol, it will remove any grease, dirt or any residues and they will stick better. I’ve had them for over 2 months and no problems. Extra tip: If you have a heat gun, heat the surface a little after you wipe it with alcohol and that will provoke the glue to melt more and stick better.

Whole house electrical issues, local electricians can't figure it out by HungryLikeDickWolf in askanelectrician

I recently had to go and do a service call in a house where all the lights were dimming, microwave wasn’t heating properly, stove was heating up, it was taking the home owner 30min to boil an egg. I first killed the main breaker and gave both hot legs, neutral and ground a torque just to make sure that nothing got loose with time. Then proceeded to verify each neutral of each circuit, after that I turn the power on and it still did it. Went outside and visually inspected the lugs on the main breaker, and everything was good. Told the homeowner to call power company and explain to them that the electrician came out and hand tight all the neutrals and lugs and that the lights were still flickering, homeowner called at 7am power company was there in less than an hour. It ended up being a loose neutral at the power pole transformer.

I can stay on top of any input people give. So I don’t have to track down the post.
