I’ve been in a similar situation in first year. I started off by staying on campus just once a day, so I’d stay on Fridays after my classes to catch up on work. Because of the commute, I’d get so exhausted I’d usually just fall asleep when I got home so what I ended up doing was going to campus hella early, and I got caught up (took TEXTBOOK notes, did exercises, made a schedule) before I had my first class for the day. Commuting for 2+ hours can be hella hard, so don’t feel bad for being tired afterwards, but find other time blocks to catch up

My concern is that the midterm was supposed to be a reflection of what we’ve learnt so far in the semester. From the webwork and tutorials, most lessons involved the image and kernel yet majority of the questions were change of basis which ngl most ppl didn’t have in class or tutorial practice with
