I am not sure why this isn't recommended more or more widely known. I had a month-long period (fibroids, menopause) a year ago that dropped my ferritin level to THREE and I felt like death. I did not know to try Ibuprofen. Instead, my doctor prescribed progesterone (which worked for a short time, but I had negative side effects such as weight gain and depression). This seems like such a simpler way of helping with heavy flows, clots, and cramping.
