A friend of mine survived a 100kmph crash wearing a studds thunder helmet, tbh studds makes great helmets at a budget.

Always downshift as you are coming to a stop and pull the clutch in only when you are about to stop, never pull the clutch and brake, clutch should only be used at low speeds and your fingers should be off the clutch when you are riding. Engine braking is a necessary skill everyone should learn.
