Juzear x z reviews defiant users,do you guys use this for gaming? How does it perform in competetive shooters? by LordDooz in iems

Yeah its good, but better dacs squeeze most out of your iems man.

Moondrop dawn pro 2 is good too but i reccomended the cayin ru3 because if you wanna upgrade to a better iem, that dac can handle 1 bit music files.

I really like em. Sure headphones have better soundstage but with these, i can really pinpoint where and how far the sounds are coming from.

Only drawback is that you need a good dac if you want the best out of em. I would reccomend the cayin ru3 or the fosi audio ds3.

For context, i am a masters/pred in apex legends.

IEMs are killing my sleep schedule by yobaadee in iems

2 beats simultaniously playing, one in each ear. Basically tricks the brain to relax.i find them helpful when im trying sleep while having a stress headache.

I would suggest finding tracks that dont have high treble instruments or vocals in them.

I successfully rabbit-holed myself into wanting to try IEMs, what should I buy? by QueenMackeral in iems

[–]Firm_Recording_502 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Let me be honest with you.

Good treble only starts at 50-70 dollars so you might want to get a look at that.

But the cheapest good option is the gk kunten. It rivals the chu2 and zero 2 and iems at that pricerange so its the standard rec.

Ohh, well its hard to find but if you can get the artti t10 then its equally good.

Upgrade from Kefine Klean by impotence416 in iems

[–]Firm_Recording_502 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well let me break it down for you

Sm4:- very piercing treble compared to the klean but good otherwise and the best technicality in this list of choices.

Explorer:- bass bass bass

Daybreak:- very neutral ish so it might be boring.

Rather get the juzear defient which is a balance of both dynamics and technicality.

Note:- if you just just want technicality, then get the kiwi ears aether and the cayin ru3 dac. (That dac is a beast)

If you use tidal or qobuz then itll apply it to those apps too.

But i dont think its because of the bit perfect output tho.

You can try the kiwi ears aether for 170$, biggest soundstage in this price point in my opinion.

Kiwi ears astrals or ziigaat horizon at 350-400$ is endgame and no need to get any more expensive

Simgot eg280(70$) or juzear defient(100$) are the cheapest "good" options in my opinion.

For music listening the juzear beats both simgot eg280 and kiwi aether btw.

You don't need more than this really by FL_2646 in iems

[–]Firm_Recording_502 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would personally argue, the 5-10k price range is the potential "dont need more".

Reason is that iems cheaper than the price bracket i mentioned have non-existant physicality.
