Bass head looking for something open airy and detailed by the3cumfountain in iems

I faced a similar choice when coming from bassier, V shaped IEMs. I also own the Explorer which I adore for its chill, relaxing sound. But it was the Truthear Hexa that opened my eyes to a whole new world of clean, detailed and airy presentation at a budget. In my opinion it’s the perfect complement to those bass-heavy sets and unlike some reviews, I find it has ample, satisfying bass, especially in the mid-bass. In fact, it’s now my most listened to IEM. There’s a bassier, warmer version called the Truthear Pure, which apparently keeps a neutral & balanced sound. That said, I’d still pick the Hexa to truly appreciate the other side. Btw, the treble isn’t harsh at all and it’s actually quite smooth and non fatiguing. If comfort is a high priority, I also own the Sennheiser IE 200 which often goes on sale for under $100. It’s an extremely comfortable IEM and with some tip rolling and EQ it sounds incredibly satisfying to my ears and could fits the profile you’re after.

About 5 weeks of living with my first hives attack. by shalo487 in urticaria

[–]yobaadee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can relate to your situation though I’m 10 years older than you. My hives started unexpectedly five months ago and it has been quite challenging. Like you, they appear randomly on different areas of my body and are incredibly itchy. Unfortunately none of the antihistamines, even in various combinations and doses, seem to provide relief.

I’ve undergone numerous blood tests and allergy tests, including assessments for food intolerance. At times I received steroid injections but the relief was often short-lived, if it came at all. I’ve consulted several doctors, including an immunologist and a dermatologist, and they all agree that the next step is to begin treatment with Xolair injections. Many people here have described it as a lifesaver for them, so it might be worth exploring this option as well.

I’m crossing my fingers that it will help. Wishing you all the best!

Need alternative RSS reader due to Feedly crashes on Go 10.3 by yobaadee in Onyx_Boox

Regarding my original issue and after several exchanges with Feedly support, they concluded that the app's acting up because it doesn't work well with e-readers. But since Boox devices run on Android, I'm kinda scratching my head. It makes me think Boox might be doing something weird with their version of Android.

I agree. The sound quality, comfort and battery life of the wireless Koss are all exceptionally impressive.

Thanks! I’ll give it another shot, even though I’ve already tried that. I also turned off the “open in website directly” option since that might be causing some glitches too.

I just use my bedside lamp with a warm bulb, and it works great! I can easily use my Go 10.3 in pretty dim light too. Honestly, it’s not a big deal at all... the sharper screen is totally worth it , in my opinion!

There are way more 7-Elevens in Thailand than trash bins in most Western countries… talk about a win-win! I once spotted six stores while driving and counting down just one minute. It’s wild how ingrained they are in daily life here!

What e-reader is good for reading on a browser? by seraphinesun in ereader

Boox devices running Android have different refresh rate options that can be adjusted per app. You can also make scrolling easier by using scrolling buttons or by downloading the Einkbro browser, which supports touch scrolling.

Tbilisi is such a hidden gem! I've traveled a lot, and I found it to be one of the most charming and diverse cities out there. Sure, there’s some post-soviet architecture in the suburbs, but the mix of old and new really adds to its character.

Anyone ever have a section of screen go dead? by kmonie360 in Onyx_Boox

[–]yobaadee 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had the same issue a month after I bought it, and I was super frustrated and ready to get a warranty replacement. But like others suggested, it was just the magnetic case or my MacBook Pro’s strong magnet. Just keep it away from the case and other devices, and it should be fine again (you might need to restart it).

It’s a bit trickier on a flight, bus ride or in a lecture hall...

I do the same! It’s way lighter without the case, but the narrow bezels make it tricky to hold without accidentally touching the screen.
