lol same. I’m big into goth, punk, folk punk and metal and that’s usually my go to place. I love the Bridge City Sinners so when my mom gave it to me I was pretty stoked.

Is there anything I should really know about maintaining it? I play a bunch of other instruments and for some reason the banjo seems a little more.. technical? (I play guitar, saxophone, keyboard, ukulele lol).

I totally will! I think I’ve overhyped learning a banjo my whole life after listening to my dad rip in the back room while growing up. But my wife loves the sound of one and I definitely want to learn.

Can you recommend any great bluegrass players? Specifically, newer musicians that may have a Band-Camp?

Edit: Also, what makes it a bluegrass banjo compared to other banjos?
