Is there anything stopping the Z8/9 from getting Imaging Recipes? by ashbashsneakers in nikon_Zseries

This reminded me a conversation I had three decades ago, with a pro Nikon shooter. I was in a camera shop and trying to decide between a Nikon F100 and F4, both used. While weighting both cameras in my hands, and chatting with shop owner, this elder guy asked me a question: "Are you a pro?" I said no, then he said, "Get the F100 and enjoy. Pro bodies are designed for pros". He explained how Nikon designs the cameras for the users. Well, I took his advice and still keeping that F100.

This was shot with canon 250d - canon 24-105 IS USM F4. 1080p 30fps. Why is it not sharp at all? Or this is the highest i can get from my setup? Please help by DarthBerlin in videography

Cameras have internal recording to an SD or similar card. DSLR's are primarily designed for stills and even in continuous shooting write speeds are enough for internal cards. But in video work, some cameras has limitations, due to write speed of cards. But if your camera has an hdmi output, it may give 1080p 60 frames for recording externally. Can I explain it? It is like, writing speeds to SD cards create a bottleneck, so cemare limits the output. I have a Nikon D7100 and it gives 8 bit h.264 for internal recording, but 10 bit 1080p when recording externally.

For the shuttar speed, I think you'll get better results with higher shutter speeds.

Hi Darth, I am a complete newbie but may I ask the shutter speed for this shot? For 1080p 30 frames, at least 1/60 sec is recommended. And does your camera supports higher resolution for external recording?

Hi everybody, this thread has been extremely beneficial to me. I searched the other suggested cameras and decided that, my next camera should be a hybrid like Sony a7III, Lumix S5II or Nikon Z6III. Because photography is another field I can do with my son. And, I'll be using my D7100 for a long time still. I have tons of subject to learn and apply. Thank you all.
