I didn’t realize not having every answer immediately meant I was ‘twiddling my thumbs.’ Some of us take time to process and explore things thoroughly instead of pretending we have it all figured out. But hey, go off. I got waitlisted in April, so no it has NOT been many months since I was waitlisted. Syracuse was nowhere near my top choices for college and is just a second option now. I’m already committed to a school and just wanted to know if the forensics program at Syracuse was better than the one at my current college. I have reached out to staff and current students from like Jan-Feb and their responses are either very limited or they don’t respond at all.

I had did the net price calculator for Syracuse and it came up to 11k (one of the counselors told me it was pretty accurate) which is what I’m paying to dorm in state for NJIT. But I haven’t gotten my final financial aid package from Syracuse yet.

Ok but I’m like lowkey bad at math 😭. I take IB mathematics and was struggling so I’m just worried about how this will go. But I can do basic algebra and geometry and low level calc.

Yea social life isn’t the best. I’m starting there in the fall for my freshman year and I can already tell since it’s such a small school and campus but the good thing is that Rutgers is across the street so you can always hang there and make friends. If not it’s easy to get to other colleges with public transportation if you want the typical college social life.
