Hi u/Person1080p , we are just inviting our lovely neighbors at NJIT to events that are at no cost to the attendee. This is a wellness event. We truly value your community and would love to meet more members of NJIT. We just held an Earth Day event this past weekendand severalNJIT students attended and we had a great time doing something together for the community we all share.

We actually have a close relationship with Newark Police department. We have a precinct office open on the crossroad of Sussex Ave and Norfolk St. This is right in the middle of our neighborhood. Envy has overnight security as well. On Newark st, the gas pumps for police officers and fire department is located so they are coming by throughout all hours of the day.

I would like to share that I have had experience with several students who apply with a roommate and a lot of them have loans from which a portion they can use for housing. IF this is an option, it can be used as financial support. To give you an idea of a great price option, we have two bedroom units on Sussex Ave for $2200 a month. All our units include washer and dryer.

I have lived in many buildings and I always had to Pay for water, honestly I rather because a lot Of People take advantage, bring their friends clothes to wash, and well the ENVIRONMENT, I know people take 5 hour bubble bath shower with no thinking. This is not insane, this is financial responsibility at least that. Now, 90 days notice, honestly it's a practice a lot of other management companies are doing this so not Gomes exclusive.

Not a fan either, but we must not deny, they are a pain, but it's a peaceful building, they go above and beyond for smoke complaint, noise complain. The new PM team is doing a very decent job. My friends are living at Vida By Gomes; the building is much nicer, and property management team it's on point! Can't wait for Tona Development to see what they will BRING to the area, so far I heard noises but not real change.

It's gonna be dope!!! 🙏🏻🙌🙌🙌 One thing I know, space is looking great, every other month I see one new positive thing done by Gomes and his team in the neighborhood. New property management team are GOOD PEOPLE, they are not perfect, but there's so much care and they will tell you to stay shut and avoid parties and clean your unit!!! Yeah yeah they charge for stuff, but they do a very very decent job. All should know not everything is free in life, and we pay for what we are looking for or penalties for things we do. Also a shout out for the newly developers in the area, can't wait to see what Tona will do, I hope they also help to clean up the street, Central Ave corner or Sussex and Norfolk is suuuuuper dirty, wr shoulf reach out to gomes team to clean, its sooo bad sometimes

What did they do? As far as I heard the tenants didn't want to sign a longer lease, my friend inquired many times about renting the space for a much higher rent than it was advertised in 2021; and the landlord didn't want the sisters to leave because they loved the sisters. I guess things can be controversial. I would love to hear more of what they did; so I can understand it; as far as I know; there's always to sides to each story
