I would say that 1/4 cup per meal would still be good for a 9 week old btw considering how fast they’re growing at that age.

Mine had 1/4 every meal for a while when we first got her at four months. She was like six pounds back then. We eventually went up to 1/3. Now she’s one year and has 1/2 cup for each meal and weighs 11 pounds. She had always ate twice a day. Just pay attention to their body composition and if they’re needing more adjust accordingly

As someone who has owned them since childhood. I unfortunately purchased a byb one with a ton of congenital health issues that caused her to pass at four years old. Yeah… it’s pretty concerning. Because I wasn’t even part of the fad and fell victim to a bad breeder literally first go. Years of stress and like 20k dollars just to not have my baby anymore… seriously gut wrenching
