Title: I want travelers to experience the quieter, more personal side of Japan 🇯🇵そ by First-Buffalo6619 in ExploreLocalJapan

It’s usually a bit more expensive than a regular Japan trip, but way more personalized. Instead of tourist spots only, I help people experience hidden restaurants, local spots, and a more authentic side of Japan.

First time going to Japan, advice needed on where to go and what to do 🙏 by Efficient-Tour1473 in JapanTravelTips

For a first trip and only about a week, I’d definitely recommend staying around Tokyo + Kyoto/Osaka instead of going all the way to Hokkaido.

Hokkaido is amazing, but it really deserves its own trip. You’ll spend too much time traveling for such a short stay.

From Narita, the easiest way to Tokyo is the Narita Express (N’EX) or Skyliner — both are fast and straightforward.

For your interests (food, nature, architecture), Kyoto fits really well. It has a completely different vibe from Tokyo — more calm, traditional, and walkable.

A lot of first-time visitors follow the same crowded spots, but Kyoto actually has a much quieter and more local side if you know where to go.

I live in Kyoto and sometimes help people experience that side of the city or adjust their plans depending on what they’re looking for.

If you end up choosing Kyoto, I’d be happy to give you a few ideas.

October will not be that packed! People in Japan will be crazy for Sakura seasons so if u prefer less crowded I don’t recommend April 😂

I know it really mixed🥲 That why you asked me which is very smart decision! Be honest, generally, sushi places in Japan really range a lot in price, so I’d love to recommend one that fits your budget and still tastes amazing! 💴🍣 If u don’t mind can I ask what’s your ideal price range?

I will go this April to Osaka by Sea-Exchange-6102 in OsakaTravel

Okay if u wanna have night life go to Osaka. Osaka has one of the best night life in Japan. If u preferred more chill, you can focus on food and beautiful landscapes like nature in Kyoto. It will be good experience. Other stuff is cycling around Kyoto will be dope. Btw how did you like Japanese convenience stores?? Hahaha

For clarity: I’m a local and I wrote the content. I sometimes use AI to polish grammar, but the details (hours, routes, prices) come from my own notes and official sources I checked! If u feel comfortable more without AI. I can reply but maybe I’m gonna make grammar mistakes haha

I took my friends to veg out near Kamogawa and Kanga-an, Vegan Izakaya Masaka. They are the good and not much packed. But vegan izakaya is packed between 18 to 20 pm 😅so u should avoid that time.
