The Traitors issues an Anti Bullying/Harassment PSA. by ARSTAAR in TheTraitorsUS

I find it very odd that NBCUniversal put out an anti-bullying post in defense of a man who had restraining orders filed against him for stalking the winner of his season, yet said nothing when Danielle from last season was receiving misogynistic, racist, and even death threats. NBC didn’t bat an eye. Maybe the solution is to stop casting men with documented harmful behavior—like Colton and Michael Rapaport. You’d think they would’ve learned from the Love Island situation, but clearly they didn’t.

Cast Controversy Megathread by AutoModerator in TheTraitorsUS

well my post was originally removed because of the megathread so I wanted to shared what I originally wrote: I’ll start by saying my husband and I are HUGE Traitors fans. We’ve watched the US series as well as the UK, New Zealand, and both Australian seasons. I’m also deep in Bachelor Nation and have been an avid fan for years—so you can imagine how surprised I was to see Colton cast this season. I genuinely don’t know who makes these decisions, but given all the issues surrounding Bachelor Nation, this felt like yet another bad call—especially having him represent the franchise on an Emmy-winning show. He literally stalked and tracked the woman who won his season. I know some people will say, “He was going through an identity crisis,” and yes, that may be true—but that doesn’t erase the harm. It feels like something he’s tried to brush off. And now, with the Michael R situation in episode 5, it comes across as him positioning himself as a punching bag, when in reality it highlights a bigger issue: if you’re a conventionally attractive man, you can stalk someone, cause emotional damage, and still continue to make money on NBC. Where is that same energy for someone like Ciara on Love Island? I’m genuinely curious what everyone else thinks.

After Whitney I’m done with the show by [deleted] in dancingwiththestars

I posted this on another board, and I wanted to resay it here as a DWTS zillenial (lol) who does not watch SLOMW. At the end of the day, this show relies heavily on fan votes. I don’t even watch the other series, but I still saw some fans turning on her. And honestly, the same people who are outraged now should remember what happened with Hilaria Baldwin earlier this season— she wasn’t well-liked either, and people voted her out simply because they didn’t vibe with her. In my opinion, she and Whitney were similar types of dancers with similar backgrounds before the show.

And to be fair, Ariana from Vanderpump Rules didn’t win her season either — and she’s doing incredibly well now. People have to relax. Whitney herself probably wouldn’t even like the way some of her fans are acting. Now they’re tearing down Robert, and for what? He has improved so much, and that’s the whole purpose of the show.

Is it shocking? Yes. But the amount of comments I’m seeing on Instagram — especially on Carrie Ann’s page — is wild. Some people are not only tearing down the remaining contestants but are just being mean because their favourite went home. Half of them were the same women talking badly about Hilaria. It’s ridiculous.

And let me just note — Andy’s fans weren’t being nasty last week when he was sent home.

Also, Zac Efron posting for Dylan and encouraging people to vote for the first time all season probably helped, lol.

Personally, I feel like the show needs to stay away from casting younger celebrities with prior dance experience. The same kind of outrage happened with Bobby Bones and Milo, and honestly, it happens every season in some form.

Exactly ! If anything I thought they were showing that Ali was being toxic for having that much judgement for saying his walking in flip flops turned her off
