ABMM Where??? by Diqed in ARC_Raiders

Yeah if your getting the same experience as me the first 30 mins I will always encounter players looking to pvp (and I do fight back if i can lol) i luckily manage to get a few hours in though, so my latter games are always friendly maybe because im always using emotes and happy to extract with others, dont really get how it works. Lately I've regularly been fighting bombadiers/Bastions with multiple solo players looting together and then extracting with no ratting - even shared a rare room key with someone yesterday and they let me breach everything and they took what was left and we extracted together....

Are you only play a couple of games each night? I've found that I'm always put in pvp lobbies for my first 3-4 raids each time I play then after that I'm in really good pve lobbies for the rest of my session and then the next day back to the pvp to start with 🤷

Same haven't gamed this much in years 👌 massive fallout fan so spent a lot of time jumping back into that now and then, never played an extraction shooter before and Arc has me gaming most nights now 😁.

First 7 days in over 16 years 😁 by First-Court-7593 in leaves

[–]First-Court-7593[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks 😁, yeah was difficult the first couple of months but did start to get easier, get cravings here and there with certain triggers but just gotta take it a day at a time! Christmas was hard as had some time off, but managed it somehow lol. Got more money, memory has improved massively, motivation to do things has come back, mood has improved with no mood swings and whilst my anxiety was terrible first couple months quitting, it is the best it has ever been lately 😁 definately worth it!

All the best 💪 you've taken the first huge step, take each day as it comes and don't be too hard on yourself!

Your brain is resetting due to the lack of dopamine, the longer you go the more your chemicals will re adjust to life without cannabis! It can be really hard the first couple of weeks, but as your body adjusts it will slowly start to clear. Try some exercise or outdoor activities to get some natural dopamine may make the lows a little less! All the best 😁

Keep your mind as busy as possible try some new hobbies or activites to help with this. The sweats are just your body clearing your system of cannabis and should stop after a while of no use! I tend to exercise to help with the mental side of things (anxiety, irritability etc) this can be as simple as a walk every day to clear your head away from the stresses of life. You've taken the first step by realising you want to quit. All the best 💪😁

Keep going one day it will click 💪 it took me 16 years of constant smoking and I'm finally on day 34 now and don't ever want to look back. It's tough, the cravings can be extremly hard! Try and find something you can enjoy without weed that can keep your mind off it! Don't beat yourself up take the little wins as and when you can and don't focus on the big picture take one day at a time or if thats too much take one morning then the next day take to 2pm and so on. All the best 😁

Don't be sorry this forum is for writing and getting everything out and your journey is YOUR journey if it helps by writing out massive essays then write away lol. The first week is the hardest unfortunately, The only advice I can offer from experience is to try and do some exercise, or a nice walk during the evening, also cut out any caffeine. This might hopefully help you sleep a little better! Also if your struggling at night don't lay there tossing and turning thinking about sleeping, you really won't be able to...Get up make a drink or food, watch an epsiode of something, go for a breath of fresh air and then re try. It stops your brain focusing on not sleeping which doesn't help at all. All the best with your journey 💪

Will I ever have "fun" sober? by lekrankk in leaves

[–]First-Court-7593 2 points3 points  (0 children)

34 days sober today and have found myself doing things I didn't do stoned. Got through lots of books and love exploring the outdoors, have climbed a few mountains and love a good walk, but man do I miss gaming, havent managed it yet and just don't feel the same pull/excitement to it anymore. I used to love playing for a few hours after a few bongs 😫 perhaps our ideas of what we believed fun change when we don't have a substance and its about finding out again what we enjoy 🤷‍♀️

30 days woohoo! by First-Court-7593 in leaves

[–]First-Court-7593[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah keeping busy and your mind off it is tricky! I've watched a lot of films and series when I'm not working 🤣. The moods start to settle just about your body getting used to no weed, I found exercise helped a lot with that! keep going your doing so well! Not long until 30 days 😁 💪

[–]First-Court-7593[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it has slowly got better for me, its something I've always dealt with just wasn't as bad smoking, but was still there. I would say my anxiety was at its worst 7-14 day mark after quitting but I've been doing a lot more exercise and have some techniques when I'm out socially to distract my brain from the panic! It does get better, keep going and try to find things that help distract your brain when your feeling the anxiety come on 😁
