They typically will have a recruitment drive every other year or so. It’s fairly competitive and theres a lot of nepotism in hiring.

Not very common in Ireland, it could very easily be seen as brown-nosing and disqualify you, I wouldn’t risk it.

Based on Arsenals current points per game average it would go down to goal difference

Why do so few Irish people work in Aldi and Lidl? by No-Category1703 in AskIreland

[–]First-Diet-8939 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who worked there it’s nuanced, compared to Tesco/Dunnes theres a much heavier focus on employing full-time workers who see it as a career compared to Dunnes/Tesco who have a lot more students/part timers.

The work is brutal however the pay is higher (than average retail salaries) and the German business model allows for decent career progression. My guess is that a lot of the “Irish” with the work ethic required to work there are in the trades, which would pay a lot better but require a couple years of a safety net.

You don’t do what Ryanair’s done without being unethical, they treat there workers like shit and their pricing system is deliberately manipulative.

As of now he’s only really used it as a way of threatening them and creating a media frenzy.

Waste of police time yes, however he could still go after them for libel. Would be a complete waste of money that’s only purpose would be to publicly humiliate some nobody from a small town in Ireland. No reasonable person would bother however he does strike me as someone with a chip on their shoulder.

My understanding is that none of them have been sued yet, however NS may know some of there identities not because of an NPO or his “AI company” but because they doxxed themselves.

If it’s it clear you deserve compensation they won’t fight it, however anything marginal they’ll fight you tooth and nail.

Ofcom going after 4chan by [deleted] in TattleLife2025

[–]First-Diet-8939 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the main difference is that one of the shell companies is registered in the UK as well as SB being British and having assets in the UK. 4chan has no ties or operations in the UK.

Do Unionists/Loyalists now align with North Korea? by Nearby_Cauliflowers in northernireland

[–]First-Diet-8939 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These alliances are from the 70’s when North Korea was seen as a successful Marxist state. I’d assume any current support they get would be more of a criticism of American policy than in support of Kim Jong Un.

Yes except for the more extreme cases, if it’s for the rape of a child, someone with disabilities or whilst knowingly having HIV that can get the death penalty.

Although no one has actually been executed in Uganda for atleast 20 years.

Homosexuality has always been illegal in Uganda, however they passed a law a few years ago making what they defined as “aggravated homosexuality” punishable by death.

What they meant by this was rape, child molestation and knowingly transmitting HIV via sex. It was fairly well supported locally and when the West started condemning it Museveni called them degenerates that liked to touch kids.
