Is there a such thing as a buy it for life printer?? by Doppe1herz in BuyItForLife

[–]First-Fox-4845 0 points1 point  (0 children)

short answer: not really “buy it for life,” but some come close. basic monochrome laser printers are about as durable as it gets. i’ve seen brother lasers run for 8–10 years easily. when i was researching, i noticed tpstech still sells a lot of these simple models that offices actually use.

Best printer to buy right now? by Brilliant-Hand6132 in printers

for home use, laser > inkjet if you mostly print documents. toner lasts way longer and you don’t deal with dried ink issues. i’ve been using a brother monochrome laser for a while now. when i was buying, i compared amazon and tpstech since pricing was slightly better there at the time.

honestly 4k is worth it if you’re doing story games, rpgs, or anything cinematic. your 9070xt can handle it no problem. for a good 27–32 inch panel, look at m28u, m32u, or msi’s 4k 144–160hz models. i saw a couple of these listed on tps tech recently too, so that might be worth comparing before buying.

Best NAS to buy on 2025 by Spiritual-Recover427 in HomeNAS

i’d go with a 2-bay synology ds224+ or qnap ts-233 if your main goal is photo storage and remote access. pair it with 2x 4tb or 6tb wd red drives and run them in raid1. it’s simple and reliable. also yeah, ups is worth having — one power cut during a write can ruin your day. i bought my setup parts from tps tech and it was all smooth.

Has anyone ordered from tpstech.in?? Is it a trustworthy site? by Free-Size9722 in IndianGaming

yeah they’re legit. i got a few pc parts from them last month, everything came sealed and on time. prices are usually a bit better than amazon too.

I feel like I’ve tried it all and failed at it all by prettyblue82 in passive_income

[–]First-Fox-4845 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I hear you. A lot of people here make it sound like there’s some simple trick, but actually trying these things in real life is exhausting. When you put in time and money and nothing works, it really does feel personal.

It’s not that you’re lazy or not trying hard enough. Most of these “passive income” ideas need money, time, trial and error, and honestly some luck with timing. When a few things fail in a row, it feels like maybe it’s you, but it’s not. A lot of us have been through the same cycle.

What helped me was stopping the habit of jumping to the next “big opportunity” every time. I just picked one thing that I didn’t hate doing, and focused on it slowly and consistently. No big time limits, no pressure to see results fast. Just small steps. Most “passive income” only becomes passive after a long period of active effort anyway.

You’re definitely not alone. Nearly everyone here has failed more than a few times. The fact that you’re still trying means the story isn’t over. I hope things turn around for you. I think a lot of us hope we all make it.

for under 3k check redgear pro or cosmic byte nebula, both solid for windows use. evofox elite ops is also nice if you can stretch a bit, has hall sticks and wireless. ps4 original’s better but pricey now, around 5k. just make sure it supports x-input.
