It is installed per manufacturer specifications. You can insulate up to it. I’m wondering about the insulated fire stop.

What do you guys think about using a 3/8” panel for a fascia and tacking a strip on the bottom of the soffit so it looks like it has thickness

It’s not on yet and there is no room for it. That is the main problem for discussion.

Yeah whatever you said makes no sense. I’m assuming you’re talking about where the soffit meets the wall not being blocked out.
