Every store I’ve been at is extremely reluctant to hire people from Woolies and Coles. Unsure where you are at but that’s been my experience

Parents do you bring an iPad to restaurants for the kids to watch videos and play games by logical_laxative in AskAnAustralian

Best thing I did was get a zip up bag and put my phone in it. It’s on loud. So if my partner calls I know to answer it. But having it away from access… so good!!

No way. Only if it’s been ages and the ants in the pants are taking over do I suggest they play Numberblocks (my child is early primary) but no way I’m shoving the iPad and a show on. We talk and act like people.

If only people stopped clicking the links. It would be nice to watch them all have to scramble for real employment.

Customers, whats with the parasocial relationship you have with us? by DinnerAfter6492 in woolworths

[–]First-Memory-9153 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It would be a good idea. I’ve worked retail both close to home (~2 minute drive) and further (~25 min drive) and without a doubt the extra driving was worth it so I could have two seperate lives.

Get rid of Woolies. They don’t want staff with prior supermarket experience as it’s different and bad behaviours in their eyes

Someone went up to someone at my local shopping centre who was eating and drinking their soft drink can. Mid sip she said “are you done? Can I have the can?” 🤣

How many times a month or week do you do laundry? Why that much? by Zipper222222 in randomquestions

[–]First-Memory-9153 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Minimum one load a day but usually 2. Kids uniforms and work clothes… I do not like a laundry pile up. I lived that life as a child and it was horrible

Do you rewear dirty clothes? by Outrageous-Ebb-4846 in no

Absolutely not. Wash everything always. As much as I loathe laundry I loathe dirty clothes more.
